Great interview. Very well explained and feel that anyone who has the "pyramid" objection will clearly see this in a whole new light. The one point that I feel you should have made regarding Amazon would have been to let Larry know that our products are not allowed to be sold on eBay/Amazon etc, therefore not a threat to us.
Been in network marketing for about 20 years. Love my products, got tired of always needing to find new people. Now I'm focusing on a business system that supports networking to make sure that once I build it it will continue to grow even when I'm not there. What's the one product that fits all... wait for it...$!

This "awesome industry" is poison for most who sign up. Con artists, thieves and cheats thrive within its ranks plus we have the pond life who mentor from the side lines, just like the one above. "Be the best you can be" and the many other pathetic script lines and rhetoric which are an insult to most thinking people. I believe he has been investigated in several states in the USA for fraud, nothing proven but....where there is smoke...MLM companies and integrity, should never be in the same sentence. One company I know have CONVICTED drug pimps and thieves who have served jail time who continue to give 'business advise' on behalf of the company they represent. Classic stuff and all part of this 'awesome industry' full of slick parasites who exploit and live well from others, they prey on the slow witted and the unwary with the subtle inference of future wealth which will never happen. If you ever shake their hands, check the rings on your fingers before and after... just in case! its easy to tell when any of them are lying... their lips move! Most of the low life who promote these 'opportunities' including the side line gurus should be doing jail time for corporate fraud and deception!
They tell us prospects join on emotion so we have to be excited but if we're more realistic about results e.g. possibly no income for months or years, new members don't join because they want it now as much as we do

Less than 1% of Network Marketing reps earn a full-time income according to the FTC. Only a tiny fraction of that 1% earn 6 figures. So if you're looking for a full-time or better income you'd do much better with more traditional options.
@@aa_kaku8153 Investing has always been a good idea. Trading is a losing game for most everyone. I've seen this a lot in Bitcoin: a trader is successful trading the market up or down for a while, and makes quite a bit, but then loses it all in a string of bad trades.

Many years ago Amway bought the mutual broadcasting system,they hired Larry King to do a late night talk show.Larry had a regional show in Florida but had been away from radio for about three years.We were the first ones to bring him back to radio.The man who ran our network at that time had worked with Larry King in Florida and he said he was a really good talk show host. He told us if your willing to give him a chance,i have an idea for an all night show on our radio network at midnight and running till 5am,so we put Larry on and opened the telephone lines,one of the first shows to ever do so.People called in,and Larry started doing what became his signature Talk show and interview style. Great video Eric as always,true inspiration and stalwart for our profession.

I see it this way... the companies who use Network marketing as their channel of distribution wants people to understand and be aware of the value of the cutting edge products that they provide to really impact people's lives and the best way for people to know about the products and their real benefits is through referral from someone who has already used it n experience the benefits...and if these cutting edge products were to sit on the shelves of supermarket, they might have never caught the attention of those who really need them koz the market has so many products that may confuse people what to go for and all...n most times we as customers we end up buying stuffs that are expensive but give no results koz we really dont know the literature n science that went behind the creation of the products n they are just commercial products that involve all the costs of expensive advertising n all that n hence the high price that consumers have to pay for. And you cant even return them for a refund. Also these companies are doing so much good to people koz they are also giving opportunity to others to earn as distributors everytime they refer to those who need them n buy them...n so much more really 🥰🤗

Dave Vaughan he literally said if the conversation is going your business is open. So if you’re talking to more people it’s more leverage. You don’t need to “get in early” to get in front of more people.
I 'surfed' here from a networking company. You had me, all the way, until the very end. When you made your sales pitch is when I shut down. Dammit, why did you do that? You had me. On the verge of buying your book. Then you ruined it. I, like a lot of other business owners, have been saturated with people trying to take my money. So much so that I have been hardened to where you have to pry that penny from my hand with a screwdriver to get it out. That was a turn-off to me too...but not surprising...it's the I scratch your back, you scratch mine mentality, which I'm discovering is part of the MLM world- requiring reciprocity and some interdependency. I'm discerning whether to get involved in Network Marketing, and my biggest hang-up is knowing that it may negatively affect my personal, genuine relationships. Meaning, I don't want to be perceived as someone just seeing $ over peoples' heads, who is wondering how to help them make money, thereby helping me make money.

He is great. If you have 1000 distributors and you don't sell then all your distributors will eventually disappear.

Dave Vaughan he literally said if the conversation is going your business is open. So if you’re talking to more people it’s more leverage. You don’t need to “get in early” to get in front of more people.

Dammit, why did you do that? You had me. On the verge of buying your book. Then you ruined it.
I, like a lot of other business owners, have been saturated with people trying to take my money. So much so that I have been hardened to where you have to pry that penny from my hand with a screwdriver to get it out.
I close doors, but rarely do I nail them shut to where they can't be opened back up again.

That was a turn-off to me too...but not surprising...it's the I scratch your back, you scratch mine mentality, which I'm discovering is part of the MLM world- requiring reciprocity and some interdependency. I'm discerning whether to get involved in Network Marketing, and my biggest hang-up is knowing that it may negatively affect my personal, genuine relationships. Meaning, I don't want to be perceived as someone just seeing $ over peoples' heads, who is wondering how to help them make money, thereby helping me make money.
If that was your take away from a 30min interview then you won’t make it our Industry. Just go get a job.
Imagine if you live in Hawaii and try to build a down line in mlm you'll run out of prospects quickly
