This has been and will probably be one of my favorite animes of all time. I loved how no fight scene lasted more than 5 minutes because they did not drag them out. Every character introduced in the story was important in their own right, and how ironic Casshern was. A robot so full of life but all he can bring is death.
Man, I remember watching that scene where his helmet shatters from his power up, and you know, ruin. However, that moment has got to be one of Dio's best. That and a falcon punch to Dune
last time i checked a reboot is done to honor and revive a series. unlike most pathetic reboots, this added a dark and interesting twist to the Casshern series.
Actually from those i have watched already soul eater, samurai champloo, black lagoon, darker then black and hitman reborn. But ill chechk the other ones too =) Thnx for the tip anyway =)
He pierced Casshern in the gut. Had they both been mortal that would have killed Casshern. That was all he wanted was to beat Casshern, he didn't give two shits about killing him he just wanted to be better. He was the main example of people who lived their life like a blazing light that burned out. He fought hard and had a purpose his whole life and once he found peace he allowed himself to pass rather than hold onto life pointlessly.
Yea of course there some like that, and it's easy to say stuff like that when you haven't watched all the episodes and gotten known to (sorry for possible miss spelling). It has so much dept and things to it if you just stick to it. Minato, Itachi, Sai, Pain(nagato) and so on.
Im surprised that in sins he never had the beam crest thing they had in robot hunter even if its not canicle I think it would be cool to see him use a super move
Anime recommendations: Souleater, Trigun, Samuria Champloo, Kenichi the mightiest diciple, Gintama, Monster, Cowboy bebop, FairyTale, Beck, Black Lagoon, Darker Then Black, Gurren Laggan, Hitman Reborn(and so many others i can't think of atm) If you think you're running out of series to watch... You've only scratched the ice.

The development is mediocre compared to other series. I felt like i could really relate to casshern, and the deaths of many of the characters. The only death i cared about naruto was kiriya and itachi. Those are intact the only complex characters. The series general plot lacks development.
Dude, you're really naive. A good story and a good observer dance around each other, letting the observer's emotions be touched, no matter the past experiences, and a good story must not shy away from those opportunities. It's your own fault for having such a closed mind on the matter. If the only thing you care about is a twist-filled storyline that keeps your little mind in check, then by all means move on to something more "interesting". I don't normally mean to pick a fight, but seriously.

Casshern was very straight forward and stayed to the story and i enjoyed the ending, No character development? are you insane did you not see the change in Casshern and everyone in the main group, and an anime does not go by episodes based on its money its usually the company they go with Casshern sins was planned to be 25 episodes your comment on that just shows your idiocy. Casshern was not "shitty" because it stayed true to its story without going into BS land. Like most actions anime/manga.
although i love the anime i wish it didnt have plot holes like what happende with the colorful stone? and is ohji okay? cus he hasnt been seen in alot of the episodes since they seperated
if ohji is old man who was raising that girl he died while creating new flowers. also didnt ohji take that stone? if so he learned Lunas tru nature trough it... soory if somthing is mesed up its some time since I watched this

Recycled Plots-"Lets save Sasuke", "Lets save Gaara", The arcs are obviously gonna end different, however the general execution was identical, as with the fights. Predicatable Characters-Useless Girl in pink hair, head strong boy who always "saves the day", Troubled boy who seeks revenge. Every chapter can be predicted. There is no depth.

wow I remember watching this anime totally forgot about it. It was amazing in every aspect, but the story was really a bunch of overblown sad pretentious bullshit. I am sorry but its like porn for people with corrosion, death and melancholy fetishes. The setting and premise of the story got repetitive really fast. But I love the amazing art, music, originality and everything els. It is really a good series especially now that the current anime is nothing but ecchi harems male\female variant.

I've watched this literally dozens if not hundreds of times now.
Even after 10 yrs i still come now and then to watch this amv. Such nostalgia and still in my top 3 amv.
