Darone Sassounian of Rocky Hill Records previously released his compilation ‘Silk Road: Journey of the Armenian Diaspora (1971-1982)’ through Terrestial Funk. From Harout Pamboukjian, Eddy Jeghelian, Marten Yorgantz, and many more, Darone curates a record filled with musicians within the Armenian diaspora whose music celebrates Armenian culture and identity while simultaneously infusing modern influences of disco, funk, and soul creating a unique blend of cultures.
