Janette, like you, it’s the trying of new things with our very resilient plants, that make our gardening addiction lol so fun ! I do love hearing from you and read the rains have quit for a day at least !
Well done ! That’s so cute . I took out all my grasses a couple years ago , they just got bigger & bigger , I mean like 4-5 foot around .. and trust me those boogers are hard to dig up after they have been in the ground for years . I should have divided them years ago. Lol But I would like to have the solid green ones , and maybe put them a little farther out away from the other plants , cause like you said , the flop over especially in a rain storm, and then it takes a couple days for them to stand their self back up.. it was just a mess! 😂
I just went to a friends house and we did hers it looks even better . The braid feels very strong . Next year I’ll maybe do two small ones for interest😉
Needlepoint I was just editing a video and I need to be better at prepping him about focusing on the plants🙄🤦♀️he will easily accommodate my request I just assume he gets it🤣lol he appreciates my passion but unlike you he’s not as aware of how important it is to zero in on the pkant or action. @@gardeningonthewestforkwith8994 So sorry, was just so frustrated trying to learn and not being able to see. I do appreciate your efforts and those of your cameraman. That was my frustration typing, she's does that sometimes!!! lol I am excited to learn this as I have three that sit outside my huge front living room window and fall messy (when tall) onto our porch when it rains heavy.
@@needlepointnana just have fun with it . Just use three pieces of grasses forget the reference to French braiding just dig in braid. Im excited to mine again this year it does keep them upright and looks so interesting . I may let them get a bit taller even though the blades are sharp wear gloved and long sleeves , just to have more length to braid with … no wrong way really just fun. I never get excited about and critique for the videos . I love learning as I go and I just told Reg on a video coming up how much better he did in zooming in on the project . He smiled , he appreciates applause , he’s an artist . In fact if you live close he’s having an open house June 2-3 and you can walk through the gardens with me.😊 25 Kitson street Weston WV 26452.
