Nobushi is so weak in duels. ZERO openers against someone with decent reactions. Block lights, block heavies, dodge the 600ms kick, and parry the dodge attacks/vipers retreat.
Actually nothing a nobushi can do

One weird thing you can do with Nobu is the most delayed dodge forward light attack you ever seen. Like the dodge ended how is it a dodge attack type late.
I also hope this game doesn't die; I know new players are not that common and it's old, but no other game is like this one.

If you time it properly, after a missed kick and they dodge attack, you can do left or right dodge attack and it has i frames
