This is the type of early 90s Entombed/Dismember stuff that I'm always looking for. From the riffs, to the *insane* guitar tone, the vocals, the drumming. AWESOME!
i'd say the distortion is way too clean/transparent/good for lack of a better term, to be compared with that sweet swedish tone. it does sound very good though.

@@jazzblasterrr yup, but I'm pretty sure it's a Left Hand Path or Wrath mod, which I think is based on the HM2. Just the name alone....LHP was HM2 central. Might be wrong though! Also: whatever he uses, killer tones!
I think it's a combination of HM2 through effects loop mixed with Amp distortion IMO

These guys are from the hardcore scene, and were playing with Knocked Loose and Magnitude, which is why Sunny would have filmed them. To my knowledge, he doesn't actively film death metal bands.

The band as a whole live is wikid as hell, so good
they were one of the only bands that, when they first did their soundcheck, I said "how did this dude make a 5150 sound that bad" then when they actually started playing I thought "oh... they didn't..." It sounded pretty bad to me when they were playing alone, but as soon as the whole band came in and played together it sounded insane. I tried listening to their album after the show and I didn't really like it, but they sound amazing live. Not really a death metal fan either, so that's probably why I don't like the album too much. I think the dude's voice is a lot better live than the album.
Either the very one, or a similar effect to that of the Japanese BOSS HEAVY METAL 2, all maxed out, as in the old Swedish school, also called "The Swedish Chainsaw", first heard in Carnage, Grave, Dismember, Unleashed, Entombed... Greetings from Southern Chile!

As much as I love Knocked Loose, these guys stole the show for me and I've never heard of them till I saw them that night. It was kind of weird having a death metal band touring with three other hardcore bands. You could tell there were some metalheads in attendance to see Gatecreeper and wanting to mosh but the younger core kids kept hardcore dancing/moshing/karate-ing during the death metal set, hence why the vocalist kept yelling "Push pit, I wanna see a push pit! No fists, no kicks, puuuuuuush" lol. It looks like the crowd did a lot better job at switching it up for this show, so well done to them!
I thought the same thing when they came to town here in NYC. I kinda had a hint due to the Merch table, the graphic tees did not look HC style at all. All n all nice surprise for me as well that night.
Pretty much how moshpits in Europe have always been. Never really got the American HC mosh style.
I wonder if those hc dancers like it or not when I'm ramming into them constantly. I don't get the need for swinging, I like contact.
