The style of dancing they do wearing the hanbok (traditional Korean costumes) is based on Pungmul, a type of traditional music and dance. The whole dance is based on this. Also the shouts Ursoo/Eossul comes from traditional Korean folk music. They often blend traditional Korean music styles with Western music, which iIMHO makes their music so unique. That second live performance was also 'just an award show' But nicki never did a collab with them, that is a very well executed edit.

They want army to feel a part of the performance, so they even hand out the fan chants written out so they can participate. BTS is an experience.

There’s also the choreography, which features popular African dances such as the South African Gwara-Gwara and Nigerian Shaku Shaku. Nicki was edited in there. She's never performed this song with them live anywhere before. This performance was from one of their end of the year award show performance last December.
At the end of every concert, they bring out the back-up dancers for a bow with them and thank them. There's also a clip in the Burn the Stage movie where they are having drinks with the crew and dancers and RM says that the people in the background are the ones who make the concerts what they are. If you wanted to show Fame another side of them, they showed up big for that performance (FYI, showing him the one directly from BTS TH-cam channel has a smoother transitions from one stage to the next).

Highkey ARMY I agree totes he was a great guest. I think the shark y’all are talking about tho is “Kore”. It is Jin’s kind of trademark. He has a couple items of clothing with Kore on them as well. If you watch DKDKTV they explain that there are a couple different ways this may be being used. One is a very sweet and the other is naughty. For some reason I like to think Jin is being naughty without ARMY knowing!

I am contesting with my daughter who is also stanning Seventeen and UNIQ. I call her a traitor, but check out Wang Yibo of UNIQ (also The Untamed), he is HOT! Still think BTS are the Kings of dance, rap,singing, MV, message. They just get everything right!
A new army in the making ! Kudos to Nicco- master recruiter ! Idol has so much symbolism in it, everything has a purpose. You almost need a college course in BTS to be able to catch everything they are showing you. And let’s take a moment to appreciate those fan chants in live performances. They want army to feel a part of the performance, so they even hand out the fan chants written out so they can participate. BTS is an experience.

As you can see the influence is strong, from the colorful Ankara suits the boys wear throughout the video to the song featuring Afrobeats. There’s also the choreography, which features popular African dances such as the South African Gwara-Gwara and Nigerian Shaku Shaku. Also the fiber-covered dancer invoking the Korean Lion Dance and several types of African dances and costumes. BTS always put in different cultures it’s just beautiful 💜🥰🔥

The contrasts of the crazy graphic sugar rush of the one with the gritty realism of the other highlights the kind of range a group of seven can provide, and that’s a big step in our solo artist driven society, recognizing the strengths of such a collaborative artist group.
Nicki was edited in there. She's never performed this song with them live anywhere before. This performance was from one of their end of the year award show performance last December.

At the end of every concert, they bring out the back-up dancers for a bow with them and thank them. There's also a clip in the Burn the Stage movie where they are having drinks with the crew and dancers and RM says that the people in the background are the ones who make the concerts what they are.
