    This is so cool! This is a great idea that would allow people from reserve to be able to access university education :)

      Firstly, this building was built BY Indigenous people FOR Indigenous people. They are literally contributing to their own communities by building homes for their children when they go away to be educated. Secondly, Indigenous people pay taxes. It’s a myth that they don’t. Thirdly, Where is this money and privileges you were talking about? Do you mean how their communities are unable to have clean drinking water? Or how they have almost no control over their own communities and land? And buy money are you talking about the money residential school survivors got after they were kidnapped from their parents and forced into a genocidal institution that caused long term affects of trauma and negative health outcomes? Or are you talking about the money received two indigenous children after they were denied, basic necessities of life from the federal and provincial governments in Foster care?

      @@lucasdacosta3835 this is why people in canada hate natives so much. You are exactly proofing why you guys are very hated. We are canadians and we are very harmonized but there is a reason if we do not like you guys. Look at the privilege,, crimes and population and drug problems etc. You will never get it. Wait, your IQ is nationally and globally very low. WE dont expect you to understand. So, have a nice day.
      It is only ok when natives build for natives, if white or chinese build for them only, natives would say they were racist. hahahah. living disease...

    Have a look at the wreck that once was Thunderbird House on Main Street and you get an idea of the future of this ill-conceived project.

    Isn’t this segregation? Language services or cultural services make sense but this is a bit questionable.

    • @lucasdacosta3835
      @lucasdacosta3835 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, this is not segregation. This is because the first nation is paying for housing for their own people to attend school. Think about it in a Canadian example so it’s easier to visualize. It’s like if Canada bought an apartment building in France so in Canadian students go to France to learn in their schools they have an affordable place to stay. This will allow people to go to top tier French schools that they otherwise couldn’t afford. I hope helps you understand :)

    $15.6 from your pocket and only $1.8 from the actual natives who benefit from this. 👎🏻

      So you must be a bot because this had nothing to do with new Canadians. Legitimately the exact opposite of new Canadians. We are housing the First Canadians.
