My heart truly aches reading so many comments from people who still can't understand that Thomas can't do all stories and all the work by himself. Get Sleepy is made up of a lovely TEAM of voiceover artists and writers. These are also human beings, not machines. I think her voice is lovely, but if viewers prefer Thomas, they should know about it since the whole purpose of these videos is to garner views and subscribers. It’s not rude to have this preference and you’re just taking it way too personally. I prefer Thomas’ voice as his lower tones are more grounding. Higher tones are more for listening during the day.

I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to turn on this new story. Of course I fell asleep right away. When I woke up several hours later, I thought there was a huge rainstorm outside. I noticed my cell phone was on, and when I turned it off, the storm stopped. It took me a bit to figure it out! 😂

Well, tonight I will finally get to listen to part 2. It took me three nights to get through this one since I kept falling asleep. I've been dealing with insomnia for a bit and this was wonderful. The way to increase a channel’s success is to increase viewership as in giving what the viewers want, which looks like Thomas’ voice. The female voice is lovely, no doubt, but more suited to daytime listening where you can stay awake and interested in following the story. Perfect for children in fact. Lower tones are easier to fall asleep to. I am sure some are fine with Jessica’s voice but I believe more views will be gotten with Thomas. This is not to insult anyone. It’s just what viewers prefer because of what actually works to make us fall asleep and stay asleep.

It's such a pleasant voice however I prefer the voice at the beginning, I believe it's got to be psychological or just a personal preference but the deeper voice is more soothing and calmer

Been thinking about this. Jessica‘s got a lovely voice. However, I think for myself anyway, I prefer Thomases voice only because it’s a male voice which is coming as well. But it also makes me falsely feel safer as I’m going to sleep. And that helps me go to sleep is feeling safer. Because they both have lovely voices. Sleep well everybody.

Love Get Sleepy but don’t understand why the story is only short and the rest of the time is just background music.?? Would prefer more story and less music as not everyone is asleep by the end of the story. You could even have some of each just say in the comments long story or short story.
I am perplexed that if people want to listen to a particular narrator, why don't they go to the narrator playlist and listen to that, rather than make negative comments?👍
Because seems like it's easier to spend minutes typing a complaint message than just look for the playlist and move on. People can be awful sometimes. Glad someone else said this! 🎉

I think it has to do with slower speed and cadence of Tom’s voice. Jessica’s voice is young and cute but a little too quick and chirpy for getting sleepy

i have a hard time with most women's voices when I'm sleeping. it just wakes me up over and over
Same. I think it has something to do with the fact that a females voice was always waking me for school, almost all my teachers were females and bossing me around. I prefer a deeper tone but I know just one person can't do it all. I just don't listen to the females who read if I want to go to sleep. I'll listen sometimes just to hear a story being told but then I'll find one with a male voice if I want to sleep. I can't help how I feel. The female voices just don't work for me.🤷 I understand there are others who love the female voices and I know they are thankful for them.
