- We're in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We stayed here for 3 nights so we got to do the main things to do in Hilton Head. We rented bikes from the resort we stayed at, did sunsets and sunrises at the beach and took a trip to Sea Pines. Sea Pines is a gated community so you do have to pay 10 dollars to get in but it's really beautiful in there. We got to go to the harbour where the lighthouse is and the pier walk. We also got to go to the Stoney Baynard ruins which I'd definitely recommend for anyone interested in history. The weather wasn't the best for us while we were there but we still got to everything we wanted aaaaaand we saw some alligators!! 🐊🐊🐊

P.S. I lived in London for two years, Jessie - but never got to the Irish or Scottish ocean/beach. I'd imagine those are rocky-raw-gorgeous. I've heard the *Danish beach very beautiful. I'd imagine - desolate, flat, harsh kind of beautiful. Any interest in hitting Scandinavia? (I was to Copenhagen with my father in January (!) many years ago. Great admiration for the danish).
Ah unreal, I love London. Would be cool to live there for a bit but renting is really expensive. Yeah the west of Ireland is stunning.
Yeah I’d love to visit some of the Scandinavian countries. Not on the list for this year but definitely would like to go at some point and during the winter months ❄️⛄️
If you go back to Sea Pines they actually allow you to deduct that $9 charge from the bill at places you dine at. i.e. when you get a drink or food at a restaurant they will reduce your total by $9.
