It is about receiving Christ as Savior and recognizing that He has done all of the work for us. God requires one step of us-receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin and fully trusting in Him alone as the way of salvation. That is what distinguishes the Christian faith from all other world religions, each of which has a list of steps that must be followed in order for salvation to be received. They're unfortunately probably Scripturally-confused people who have been taught false teachings (like Amillennialism Preterism, Pre-Wrath, etc.) and thus view Jack as a false teacher. As sound as Jack is, there's always that fringe element who have embraced false teachings and will thumb down a pastor like Jack.
It is great to hear the complete gospel preached.... and even in California! How rare is that! There will all ways be trolls, blinded spiritually deluded people. Pray for the scales to come off of their spiritual eyes.

If Jesus was a male why not 50 pieces of silver? The answer: The money is not for him,.....it is for us. 30 pieces of silver is the bridal price and the slave price of a female (Lev 27:4). Jesus drank “the cup of promise” during the last supper. What is the cup of promise? When Jews are betrothed just before they sign the wedding contract (Rev 7 seals on the scroll/things the intended suitor must fulfill to make the contract in effect) the bride and the groom drink a glass of wine (a picture of the blood) this is the point that the grooms entire family is now responsible for the welfare of the bride. A promise ring (sealed by the Holy Spirit) If you will. So, even if the son were to die the father would be obligated to take care of her. (We see this reflected in the story of Tamar). After Both individuals make their mark on the contract one line crossing another (in fact making the sign of the cross), they drink “The cup of promise” signifying he is to return once he has prepared a place for the bride. The Father gives the Son a piece of property and the Son builds a house, (Jesus said, “in my Fathers house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you”) the Father inspects it and only the Father knows when the house is suitable (of that time and hour only the Father knows). Once he deems it worthy for His Son’s bride, He tells the Son when to gather his bride. The Son returns with his friends blowing trumpets and shouting in the night...She is to wait and prepare herself for him, keeping the lamp lit waiting for him because only the Father knows the day. The first thing he does when he comes back (for the second time) is lock his bride in the bridal chamber for a period of seven days as He consummates the marriage (tribulation outside “till the indignation has passed). After which, he brings her out and presents his bride...they have a wedding feast drinking the 4th cup the cup of heirship. This is when you are brought fully into the inheritance (up to half of my kingdom says the lord). The picture fulfilled is we are the bride of Christ...He in fact paid the 30 pieces of silver for us. 3 represents Devine perfection (Father,Son and Holy Ghost,) 10 represent Devine completion. He will fulfill all his promises........The Silver also represents blood or redemption. As the one who purchased us by his blood...he owns us, and who the Son sets free is free indeed! Now the question is do we cling to him like Ruth did to Naomi were we as the bride are lead into the land of promise to marry our kinsman redeemer..... or do we turn back like the other daughter in-law and go back to our old life? That’s the liberty we have in Christ. He gave you the choice. We have a choice, when he returns will you be ready, will your lamp be full and will you be ready to receive him?
43:00 - Actually, 1 Thessalonians 4 16-17 says that we will be caught up TOGETHER WITH THEM to meet the Lord in the air. The bible doesn't say that the rapture happens in "the twinkling of an eye". It says we will be changed that quick. When Jesus comes to gather us, He will be the only light in the sky. The sun, moon, and stars will be darkened. As the Earth rotates and His light shines down we will be caught up to meet Him in the air.
I was listening to a sermon on Psalms 23 from Calvary Chapel and it occurred to me.....Most people use this psalm as some kind of peaceful Psalm and it is in a way, but not how they think. Most people don’t know this, but when Jesus entered Jerusalem through the Golden gate also known as the beautiful Gate (east side) he actually walked across a real place called “the valley of the shadow of death.” It lies East of the Gate outside of the city. Today it’s full of tombstones and is one of the choicest and expensive places to buy a burial plot. It was the same place they sacrificed 1000s of babies to Ba’al. The Jews all want to be next to the Messiah when he comes so they will pay Exorbitant amounts of money for one. They don’t understand he already entered that gate, neither did the Ottoman Turks because they walled it up. “The table prepared in the presence of his enemies” in the psalm is foreshadowing the last supper. It’s funny how we always try to apply these as feel good versus to us when it is always about Him. Every one of the psalms are written in spirit from the Lords perspective about what he would go through or what he was going to do. In fact the entire Bible 66 books not only points to him, but has one author and from his perspective. He just used 44 penmen as you well know. Waters always represents the word of God. The fact in this Psalm that it is still waters means to me the word is fulfilled, I.e. his promises and work (promised in his word) is complete. From our perspective it sounds like a peaceful psalm, and it is in that it is talking about our salvation. But from the Lords prospective it’s all about the Fathers will and what awaited Jesus in Jerusalem which was violent and horrible. He became sin for us! Note, when He was on the cross He said “My God, My God Why have you forsaken me?” He cries out to God twice...why?...He is crying out to the both the Father and Holy Spirit because for the first time ever He was separated from them. We can’t begin to fathom what that cost him at that moment. It’s funny how our view of the world and Gods view are so vastly different. Praise God for our shepherd that leads us to His righteousness, which we get through faith in The fact he fulfilled His word. God Bless you!
I love this teaching but am confused about Thomas’ martyrdom. Pastor Hibbs said he was martyred in North Africa. Ravi Zacharias states that he was martyred in India. Which is true?
I once seen a women being mean to a little boy of about 8 yrs. old. I was at our local laundry mat and she was mad and was making him stand outside. It was a cold windy day and every time some one came in they brought him in. This women would make him go back out. I didn't do anything because at the time I was just too shy to speak up, but no body else did either. I was also afraid that if I got involved it would make things worse for the boy. I often wonder how he is and have prayed for him. I hope to see him in heaven and tell him I am sorry for not stepping up and doing something.

So many areas listed in Gen. Chapter 10. I the entire area mentioned our modern day Russia?? Not much in my Life Application Study Bible about chapter 10 at all. The place where the Jews think the 2nd Temple was, is actually the old Roman Fort named "Antonia", described and named by Josephus. The actual place of the 2nd Temple is just below in the Kidron Valley, in the real City of David, where the only natural spring, the Gihon, is, and was used for the ritual bathing and sacrifice cleanup. It has been covered up for centuries...."not one stone left upon another" , Jesus said. You can see stones at the Wailing Wall, so that confirms that is not the place. Plans are almost done to build the Third Temple there in the Kidron Valley.

James, perhaps I can help you. In 2 Cor 5:10 it states " We must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad". Jesus is in heaven sitting at the right hand of the Father. When we die or are raptured, we will be judged there in heaven by Jesus and given our rewards. It would make no sense for Jesus not to judge us then and give us our rightful place, as we all have different rewards. Read all 2 Corinthians chapter 5, and it will help you understand

The Bema seat/wedding feast takes place after the resurrection and rapture which occurs AFTER the tribulation of Jesus second coming. - the 7th trumpet sounds and then "The time HAS COME for JUDGING the dead and REWARDING your servants." (rev 11:18) -Luke 14:14, you will be REPAID at the resurrection of the righteous. - Rev 22:12, behold I am COMING soon! My REWARD is with me. -Luke 13:22-19, The wedding happens after the door is closed. And it will include those from the 4 corners (east west north and south) just like it is said in Matthew 24. When the door is shut no one is EVER let in. -Rev 19:9, blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb. This includes those whose blood he has just avenged (rev 19:2); these are those who have been slain as referenced in the 5th seal.
2 Thessalonians 2:7,8 makes it clear that the church, the Holy Spirit filled believers, are taken out of the way, and THEN the antichrist is revealed. 1 Thessalonians explains the rapture, and 2 Thessalonians clears any confusion because of a false letter that was circulating

It is so True, at Jesus First Coming He came to die for our Sins and at His Second Coming He will come to sit on the Throne of David as King. There is NO Coming between the First Coming and Second Coming, it is simply First and the Second. Jesus Himself said in the Word of God that He is Coming after the Tribulation has ended, there is not one verse in Scripture that states that Jesus is Coming before the Tribulation. Paul himself said that Jesus is not Coming to Gather us together to Himself UNTIL the Son of Perdition is revealed. John himself said that the Anti Christ is Coming. The First Resurrection of the Dead takes place at Christs Second Coming and Paul clearly stated that the Coming of Jesus Christs and the Resurrection of the Dead must take place before we will be Raptured. Jesus said so clearly that He will Raise us up at the Last Day and that the Harvest of His Seed takes place at the End of The Age. The Church has been given the Mission of spreading the Gospel until the End of the Age. Thank God for His Clear and Truthful Written Word of God that we can Trust and Obey!

It is about receiving Christ as Savior and recognizing that He has done all of the work for us. God requires one step of us-receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin and fully trusting in Him alone as the way of salvation. That is what distinguishes the Christian faith from all other world religions, each of which has a list of steps that must be followed in order for salvation to be received. Anyone who can give Jack Hibbs a "thumbs down" needs to have their head examined.
They're unfortunately probably Scripturally-confused people who have been taught false teachings (like Amillennialism Preterism, Pre-Wrath, etc.) and thus view Jack as a false teacher. As sound as Jack is, there's always that fringe element who have embraced false teachings and will thumb down a pastor like Jack.
Trollers influenced by Satan would leave a thumbs down . It would be a great idea to pray for the people leaving a thumbs down .
It is great to hear the complete gospel preached.... and even in California! How rare is that! There will all ways be trolls, blinded spiritually deluded people. Pray for the scales to come off of their spiritual eyes.

Yes ,greater love hath no man than that he lay down his life for his friend or his brother. But the one laying his life down still has to be born again, haha right brother Jack? Good teaching here. Jack when you start chasing rabbits ?we learn a lot ,we love the way you teach. It is why you can’t get through all your notes ,and everyone is happy with just the way it goes. You’re letting the Spirit lead the way ,and that’s what’s important.
If Jesus was a male why not 50 pieces of silver? The answer: The money is not for him,.....it is for us. 30 pieces of silver is the bridal price and the slave price of a female (Lev 27:4). Jesus drank “the cup of promise” during the last supper. What is the cup of promise? When Jews are betrothed just before they sign the wedding contract (Rev 7 seals on the scroll/things the intended suitor must fulfill to make the contract in effect) the bride and the groom drink a glass of wine (a picture of the blood) this is the point that the grooms entire family is now responsible for the welfare of the bride. A promise ring (sealed by the Holy Spirit) If you will. So, even if the son were to die the father would be obligated to take care of her. (We see this reflected in the story of Tamar). After Both individuals make their mark on the contract one line crossing another (in fact making the sign of the cross), they drink “The cup of promise” signifying he is to return once he has prepared a place for the bride. The Father gives the Son a piece of property and the Son builds a house, (Jesus said, “in my Fathers house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you”) the Father inspects it and only the Father knows when the house is suitable (of that time and hour only the Father knows). Once he deems it worthy for His Son’s bride, He tells the Son when to gather his bride. The Son returns with his friends blowing trumpets and shouting in the night...She is to wait and prepare herself for him, keeping the lamp lit waiting for him because only the Father knows the day. The first thing he does when he comes back (for the second time) is lock his bride in the bridal chamber for a period of seven days as He consummates the marriage (tribulation outside “till the indignation has passed). After which, he brings her out and presents his bride...they have a wedding feast drinking the 4th cup the cup of heirship. This is when you are brought fully into the inheritance (up to half of my kingdom says the lord). The picture fulfilled is we are the bride of Christ...He in fact paid the 30 pieces of silver for us. 3 represents Devine perfection (Father,Son and Holy Ghost,) 10 represent Devine completion. He will fulfill all his promises........The Silver also represents blood or redemption. As the one who purchased us by his blood...he owns us, and who the Son sets free is free indeed! Now the question is do we cling to him like Ruth did to Naomi were we as the bride are lead into the land of promise to marry our kinsman redeemer..... or do we turn back like the other daughter in-law and go back to our old life? That’s the liberty we have in Christ. He gave you the choice. We have a choice, when he returns will you be ready, will your lamp be full and will you be ready to receive him?

43:00 - Actually, 1 Thessalonians 4 16-17 says that we will be caught up TOGETHER WITH THEM to meet the Lord in the air. The bible doesn't say that the rapture happens in "the twinkling of an eye". It says we will be changed that quick. When Jesus comes to gather us, He will be the only light in the sky. The sun, moon, and stars will be darkened. As the Earth rotates and His light shines down we will be caught up to meet Him in the air.

I was listening to a sermon on Psalms 23 from Calvary Chapel and it occurred to me.....Most people use this psalm as some kind of peaceful Psalm and it is in a way, but not how they think. Most people don’t know this, but when Jesus entered Jerusalem through the Golden gate also known as the beautiful Gate (east side) he actually walked across a real place called “the valley of the shadow of death.” It lies East of the Gate outside of the city. Today it’s full of tombstones and is one of the choicest and expensive places to buy a burial plot. It was the same place they sacrificed 1000s of babies to Ba’al. The Jews all want to be next to the Messiah when he comes so they will pay Exorbitant amounts of money for one. They don’t understand he already entered that gate, neither did the Ottoman Turks because they walled it up.
“The table prepared in the presence of his enemies” in the psalm is foreshadowing the last supper. It’s funny how we always try to apply these as feel good versus to us when it is always about Him. Every one of the psalms are written in spirit from the Lords perspective about what he would go through or what he was going to do. In fact the entire Bible 66 books not only points to him, but has one author and from his perspective. He just used 44 penmen as you well know.
Waters always represents the word of God. The fact in this Psalm that it is still waters means to me the word is fulfilled, I.e. his promises and work (promised in his word) is complete. From our perspective it sounds like a peaceful psalm, and it is in that it is talking about our salvation. But from the Lords prospective it’s all about the Fathers will and what awaited Jesus in Jerusalem which was violent and horrible. He became sin for us! Note, when He was on the cross He said “My God, My God Why have you forsaken me?” He cries out to God twice...why?...He is crying out to the both the Father and Holy Spirit because for the first time ever He was separated from them. We can’t begin to fathom what that cost him at that moment. It’s funny how our view of the world and Gods view are so vastly different. Praise God for our shepherd that leads us to His righteousness, which we get through faith in The fact he fulfilled His word.

I love this teaching but am confused about Thomas’ martyrdom. Pastor Hibbs said he was martyred in North Africa. Ravi Zacharias states that he was martyred in India. Which is true?
I once seen a women being mean to a little boy of about 8 yrs. old. I was at our local laundry mat and she was mad and was making him stand outside. It was a cold windy day and every time some one came in they brought him in. This women would make him go back out. I didn't do anything because at the time I was just too shy to speak up, but no body else did either. I was also afraid that if I got involved it would make things worse for the boy. I often wonder how he is and have prayed for him. I hope to see him in heaven and tell him I am sorry for not stepping up and doing something.

So many areas listed in Gen. Chapter 10. I the entire area mentioned our modern day Russia?? Not much in my Life Application Study Bible about chapter 10 at all. The place where the Jews think the 2nd Temple was, is actually the old Roman Fort named "Antonia", described and named by Josephus. The actual place of the 2nd Temple is just below in the Kidron Valley, in the real City of David, where the only natural spring, the Gihon, is, and was used for the ritual bathing and sacrifice cleanup. It has been covered up for centuries...."not one stone left upon another" , Jesus said. You can see stones at the Wailing Wall, so that confirms that is not the place. Plans are almost done to build the Third Temple there in the Kidron Valley.

James, perhaps I can help you. In 2 Cor 5:10 it states " We must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad". Jesus is in heaven sitting at the right hand of the Father. When we die or are raptured, we will be judged there in heaven by Jesus and given our rewards. It would make no sense for Jesus not to judge us then and give us our rightful place, as we all have different rewards. Read all 2 Corinthians chapter 5, and it will help you understand

The Bema seat/wedding feast takes place after the resurrection and rapture which occurs AFTER the tribulation of Jesus second coming.

It is so True, at Jesus First Coming He came to die for our Sins and at His Second Coming He will come to sit on the Throne of David as King.
There is NO Coming between the First Coming and Second Coming, it is simply First and the Second.
