sorry this is 2 months late but:
      - buckminster fullerene molecules are made up of 60 carbon atoms joined together by strong covalent bonds. there are weak intermolecular forces between molecules of buckminsterfullerene. these need little energy to overcome, so buckminsterfullerene is slippery and has a low melting point.
      - carbon nanotubes are very strong and light, and can act as semiconductors or conductors. they are ideal lubricant additives due to their excellent mechanical properties!
hope this helps in some way

    Solid to liquid melting
    Liquid to gas evaporating
    Liquid to solid freezing
    Gas to liquid condensing
Solid- fixed particles a little movement
Liquid more movement t not in fixed can’t be compresssed
Gas lots of movement no fixed postion can be compressed.
    S is a solid
    I is liquid
    Aq aqueous
    G is gas
Liquid+ liquid going to solid turns cloudy
    L and s or L to a G turns cloudy
Metals on left and right is non metals
    Covalent is 2 non metals
    Metallic 2 metals
    Ionic 1 of each
Metals made of postive atoms and de localised electrons. They are pure metals , have layers, slide across so soft
Alloys, has positive irons and de localised electrons and a metal and non metals. p, Distorted layers canr slide, so hard
    Ionic compounds, giant ionic lattice,
Have high melting point, high boiling point, only conduct when molten or dissolved becauss ions need to be free to move
Simple covelenr compound lkke O2 CO2, have a convalent bonding, low melting point and boiling points, not conduct electricity.
Giant covalent compounds, giant covalent structure examples are graphite and diamond
Hugh melting and bp, do not Conduct and do not dissolve
Diamond made of carbon, each carbon 4 bonds
    Diamond, are hard
Graphite is giant covalent compound, pure carbon, 3 bonds
Soft and conducts electricity because it’s in layers and delocalised electrons in them
    Graphine, single sheet
    Carbon nanotubes and buckmisnter fullerene
    Carbon
    3 bonds
    Hard
    Budkminster is a lubricant

HI Zishan, for science the old spec past papers shouldn't be used, the exam boards have changed things around, added bits and taken bits out. To help with this I have written loads of predicted papers for you, these are available on my website www.primrosekitten.com/collections
If you want more than one thing you should consider the Science or Math discount bundles and save yourself some money

do these videos on the sub units cover everything that the revision guides would?

Hi Jordanna, this video is a short summary and can never cover everything in a much depth as you go into in class (full explanation th-cam.com/video/K6d4oOq-pmU/w-d-xo.html ) If you want to make sure you've covered all the bits you need the I suggest you watch this in combination with using my FREE revision guide available on my website www.primrosekitten.com/collections I've rewritten the specification and it clearly shows you everything you need to know.
