No, it is not applicable for non-striker.

Not sure that Srikanth was given not out because of the law stated. I do not think there was an actual or meaningful appeal and / or the umpire was not paying attention. There was a case where Geoff Lawson hit his stumps and was given not out twice by the same umpire (not exactly a great day for Australian umpiring) against the West Indies in Brisbane in 1984. IMO, I think Srikanth should have been given out as he was not in control of his shot when he hit the wicket (there was no real pause before he hit the wicket).
In the same one-day series Australia v India in 1985/86 an Indian batsman was given out Obstructing the Field but Alan Border revoked the appeal. Would love to see that footage on TH-cam.
In case of Srikanth, law clearly tells that if there is no genuine attempt is made to play then the batsman has to hit the wicket immediately after the ball passes the wicket for hit wicket case to be valid. There was no pause in the action yes, but the point to be noted is he didn't offer a shot and this is what saved him. If he had attempted the shot and if this had happened then he would have been given out. You can refer the law book for the same.

Doubt::: what if a batsman tries to hit the ball which is a wide delivery and hits the stumps? He is out right? And wide ball goes to boundary as well.. So please tell me would the ball be counted because of the wicket or it is still a wide and a wicket or is it a wide plus 4runs and the wicket??? Plz answer...
Ball will not be counted. It is a wide delivery so one run. The batsman is out and 4 will not be counted.

It will be a no ball. Hit Wicket is not valid on a No-ball. So it will be not out.
If the batsman hit the wicket after a boundary ,on the same boll when he playing the crush bat ball goes for boundary but the batsman doesn't controlled his bat then , should be the run by the batsman counte or not

I have a question. Is it legal to stop the ball with the bat or any part of a batsman's body from hitting the stumps after the initial receive was made? For example a batsman defends the ball but then the ball starts rolling towards the stumps. Is it legal for a batsman to try and stop the ball then?
Yes, it is completely legal but one exception being he can not use his hand if he is not holding the bat in that hand.

Can the rule be utilised by batsman as a benefit when they require 2 runs off the last ball ? Break the stumps on purpose at the end of first run so that a direct hit is not possible on 2nd run since stumps would have to be assembled for that.
If the batsman breaks the wicket purposely then he will be subjected to obstructing the field and hence all the runs scored after he breaks the wicket will be disallowed.
I would like to add, if it's broken purposefully the batsman who does that will be committing a level 1 offence thereby umpire gives a first and final team warning. Abuse of equipment falls under newly designed level offenses. Also the striker for that delivery will be OUT obstructing the field not the non striker.
Good question, fielder have opportunity to get batsman run out by removing stump from his original position with the ball in their hand(s). Practically it's next to impossible however a good question.

Hi can you upload a video of a high full toss delivery hitting the wicket and called for third Umpire to decide whether it's above the waist height. It's very rare but please acknowledge the rule with video.
We don't have a video of such an event but in that case if it is found that the ball is above the waist height(assuming that the batsman is standing upright at the popping crease) then it will be called a no ball.
What will be decision in below case
1) Ball was hit
2) In the process of completing the swing of shot, hit the wickets with leg

Something like this happened with Roy Fredericks in the world cup final 1975.
He hit the ball for 6 but trod on his stumps.i think 6 runs were awarded and the batsman was out as well.
what about run out .If i bowld some one and the other batsman runs for single and i throw the ball towards the stamp,it is given not out .WHY?
Once you get batsman out (by bowled in your case) the ball becomes dead. no further action is deemed valid. Hence if you runout the other batsman further it will be not be considered.

शॉट मारते हुए बल्ला टुटने से dead ball घोषित नहि किया जाता है। अगर टूटा हुआ बल्ला stump पे जाके लगता है तो out घोषित किया जायेगा। अगर टूटा हुआ बल्ला stump पे नही लगा है तो जितने भी रन बने उतने रन valid रहेगा।
