Even Stevens!!!! I was in high school when that show was on and secretly loved it when the kids I babysat would watch it. My middle school afternoons were filled with the Mickey Mouse club!
I feel so old… I grew up with the Disney Channel of D-TV, Kids Incorporated, and a lot of replays of classic Disney movies (which we recorded on VHS). I definitely fell in love with WDW via old Wonderful World of Disney episodes they aired, and just finally got to take my first trip last year.
I grew up watching the three caballeros taped off the Disney Channel and now I feel like the only one who has seen that entire film! We watched the classics growing up. And Dumbo’s Circus.
My favorite of these was Lizzie McGuire, but I have a 5 year old daughter now who loves watching Kim Possible on Disney+ and I gotta say, it holds up. 👌

I remember for my birthday party I got to take two friends to see the lizzie McGuire movie and omg its probably one of the most memorable childhood memoriesss tears!!!
I'm too old to have seen any of those, heck my son is too old to have seen any of those. I'm pretty sure the Disney Channel was around when he was a kid but I don't remember him watching it. I do know who most of the characters are. Our RV is a model called a Montana so we named it Hannah the Montana.
Part 2 - suite life of zack and cody + on deck; hannah montana, wizards of Waverly place and I would throw in Phineas and Ferb Part 3 - Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, Recess, Doug/Pepper Ann Good Luck Charlie, Austing & Ally, Dog with a Blog is when I faded out (got too old)
The Lizzie McGuire movie came out on my 9th birthday! Me and all my friends saw it in theaters and it was quite literally what all my dreams were made of! Such a great movie!!!
I'm totally going to age myself here, because my OG favorite even predates these, and that's Flash Forward. Becca and Josh looking out their windows at each other and talking on their landlines... It was the original zoom call!

As a Gen X'er, Disney Channel wasn't on my radar until: Kanye dis'd Taylor Swift on THAT awards show which made me a RIDE or D:E fan. In one her fan mags she said that Wizards was her fave show. Hello Wiz, Hannah, Even Stevens, Lizzie, and KIM POSSIBLE! That last show has a permanent place on my Disney+ waatchlist. Hick a bick a boo? (Can I get a Hoooo Sha!?) Thanks for the nostalgia. Excellent vid, as always.

I watched Disney Channel because I LOVED Disney Channel….but also because I wasn’t allowed to watch Cartoon Network, and most Nickelodeon shows were also not allowed. And for some reason the show I was most upset about not being able to watch was Courage the Cowardly Dog?

I think girl meets world is the last thing I ever watched of theirs. Honestly if they decide to reboot anything should probably be for an older audience since many of us are adults. There’s so many shows and movies I don’t even remember what could’ve been the first thing I watched especially since I watched whatever my sister did when I was really young so feel lot things aren’t even mentioned. I never chose sides with anything, Nickelodeon or Disney or whatever else
