There are some customary marriages in Indonesia with foreigner, some of them is done by the man from gulf or levant countries. I don't know why there are some gulf and levant people do that things. Some Indonesian Women expetancy about gulf and levant is same too, women expect that they would have many gold, a big mahr, very handsome hahaha.
I did the mixed marriage in morocco, im Bangladeshi american. As you said, my wife did host me in her house and i didnt have to do a wedding. It helped out alot because the flight and car rental and all other expenses added up. Plus i visited her 4x before her US visa was approved. It all added up :( i think some things should be made easier for Moroccan men. Some men are so cruel! I cannot even imagine abandoning my wife in a country foreign to her when she has my child. I would at least have the decency to pay for her ticket back home if we divorced. And yea absolutely, these women should avoid the fatiha marriage with foreigners. They need to make everything court approved for their own good.

Hey if a man does a Nikah urfi with a Moroccan woman can he live with her in hotel legally. Can he get hotel and say she is his wife only. And when he go back to his country she go back to her family and send her money. But he stay with the girl at hotel only when he visits morocco? Is that common in Morrocco or no? How does Nikah urfi work? I ask because some people may not want a legal marriage. Maybe they have family or they have wife or they dont want to bring the morrocan woman to there country they only want to keep her there and visit her and his kids. Do you see this scenery common for foriegn men and Moroccan women? . Because I hear morrocco is country where polygamy is legal. let's see ,to enter a hotel you need to show a copy of the marriage contract with ID if you do a paperless imam's marriage you wont be able to enter a hotel with her, besides no one in their right mind would agree to what youre describing.
Hahaha you want a marriage on a budget? Well i dont know the jurisdiction but what youre describing is illegal, since law or embassy wont take part in it .also its not in favor of the woman and kids need their father around. I dont recommend

I do what i want and like and marry who i like. So there must be plenty of women there who will marry without papers and just do nikah. And i will keep ber and the kids in morrocco and never bring to my country. I only visit morocco and see family. I ask you do you see that common there or not. And are there women who will accept such conditions.
