- Thruster "Dark Matter" 27.5 BMX Bike Review. The Aluminum & Chromoly Walmart Impulse Buy!
I came across this bike on Feebay (eBay). I never heard of it before however the price was about $330 (pretty cheap) which led me to read up on its specs etc. I was interested in it after seeing it was aluminum and chromoly. I searched google for more info and it showed upon Walmart.com for only $259. (April, 2024)
I own a Redline PL-26 26" BMX bike which I like a lot. I wanted to try the 27.5 so I purchased it. I didn't see any videos on this bike so I made one.
THRUSTER has a 24", 26" and a 29" in addition to this one.
The 24"is $229, the 26" is $259 and the 29" is only $210.! They have the same specs as this 27.5"
Bike is lightweight and fun! Well worth the money!

Slick bike for the price. I ordered one last night. I originally wanted the Saturn 9 that was $210 but, it was sold out.
You won't be disappointed with the 27.5". It's more nimble than the 29". 👍
If your looking for a brake upgrade from stock check into box v brakes
@@kfett86 I took it for a ride today. It kicks ass. The seat and brake pads are trash though. I ordered a SE Flyer seat and Kool Stop Salmon brake pads.
@SnarkyRC Yeah rides real smooth! Definitely changing the seat. I might as well change the brake pads. There cheap and easy. Thanks for the info!

Not sure. You would have to find out the diameter of bars. Most are interchangeable.

The redline is nice honestly can't decide if I want the yellow an blue 26 thruster or if I want the yellow an black gt pro series with disc brakes. I'm waiting on the pedals right now but have already upgraded grips to the cult vans. Upgraded the brakes to box full kit also got the box chain tensioner since they do only come with the 1 jenky style. pivotal style seatpost S&M a shadow conspiracy saddle and a profile racing imperial 36t sprocket
@irish2200 That color combo on the 26 Thruster is NICE!!. Probably the nicest color of all the Thrstr bikes!
