Aspects are the way forward at present. It's the only army style that fits a particular craftworld as well.

It's true that despite all our datasheet qualities, Aeldari remains a difficult army to play, and I lost all 8 games I played in my two last tournaments (against good players tbh).
So I hope GW will stop with the nerfs seeing our below 50% win rate because people winning GT with Aeldari are top players.
I will wait for your battle report against TS because it's my second army; I was recruited by friends to join their team in a tournament soon and after discussing with them I will play TS to better fit the team pairing process

Obviously, Eldar codex is still a little ways off, and since we know they are coming, they won't be getting any free second detachment, like DEldar did, but I am curious what detachment,if you can be predictive, are you hoping Eldar will receive. I don't personally see their win rate as bad; GW says they AIM for 45%-55%, if my memory serves, so they are safely in the cushion, but I'd say they've on again of again been able to be pretty good with that one detachment, so with the value of that detachment rule, Stratagems, and Enhancements, and knowing other detachments won't have all of them, is there a hypothetical focus you are hoping for? Are they going to "Craftworlds, but not by name", and drop a bikes/transports, a Wraith, and a Seer detachment, or do you think they'll try and be a little more original. Honestly, I'm a little scared. In a similar way to Guard, I worry that they might wreck the one detachment, to take parts, and scatter them to others, but their track record for codices isn't stellar, and I think it might seem odd for Guard to be better than Astartes, or Eldar superior to Tau, so will their books be more Sisters, or more AdMech? We'll have to wait and see, but things could get goofy.
Yes for sure I’m crossing my fingers but who knows they could write the codex completely trash or treasure we will have to see. Probably expect the main craftworlds plus Ynnari and Quins to be a detachment

I'm a bit concerned seeing lists with triple Falcons and Fire Dragons. Past GW behaviour seems to indicate that Rule of Three is actually a lie and any time units consistently get taken in 3s it gets nerfed hard.
Typically speaking yes that’s true. I don’t agree with GW’s nerf policies because they don’t align with their buff policies.
Definitely have to play cagey as an Eldar player that’s for sure! I also hope corsairs get point cuts, I think the reavers should be around 55/110 and the scarred 65/130 for what they offer. Love the models, love the lore, but it hurts to take them when looking at our other infantry options.

Four things are dominating the meta right now: MoWo Spam, Speed, Overwatch threat ability and melee units that take over markers effectively. The most dominant armies have effective ways to bring 3 or more of those things. Aeldari bring one, if you count the Avatar (which is our only real melee punch) two of those. Lets hope the codex gets us something along the lines of 9th ed Troupes or Banshees to close the gap a little.
I doubt we will get 9th ed troupes or banshees back unless their current cost is doubled. However I’d like to see them hit harder without support as well.
I think we actually have some good Overwatch units, Spiders and Windriders are both very solid as is the Avatar and to a lesser extent the Yncarne. We also have tons of speed and lethality still but we struggle into certain matchups for sure
