Could you add detail as to how you came up with the 0 to 255? I'm searching for this now after watching your great video.

0 value is your sensor range minimum value, 255 is sensor maximum value
ex- if you have pressure transducer 0-10bar range and output with 0-10v
then 0 is 0v 255 is 10volt
255 did by 10 = 25.5 equal to 1 bar
if you have temp sensor 0-60deg cel with o-10v out
0 is min value 255 divd by60 = 4.250 equal to 1 deg cel
