  • If you have a chance to take a Bohol Country Tour, you should do it. There are many people offering to take you on a country tour. It is wise not to take a tuk tuk (tricycle), though it is cheaper if you are traveling solo or as a couple. The ride won't be as comfortable. Rental vans are a plenty in Bohol. We chartered LV Travel for a van. Or you could rent a scooter and drive yourself. If you are starting from one of the resorts on Panglao, it is one straight road that has everything leading up to the Chocolate Hills. On the way, we stopped by the Blood Compact Monument, the XZootic Animal Park & Butterfly to see Bohol pythons (some of the world's largest and longest), Tarsier Sanctuary, Manmade Forest and the Chocolate Hills. We experienced the Loboc River Cruise and the Hinagdanan Cave on different days. We skipped some things, too, which you should visit if you have the time... like churches and other beautiful spots of nature. Bohol is a little underdeveloped, but the people are incredibly friendly and Bohol is amazingly clean. Tourism is the main economy, so the people of Bohol have a culture of welcoming foreigners and keeping Bohol beautiful for all to enjoy! @TravelWhiskers

It seems Bohol has a lot to offer! Do you have a must-visit tourist spot if you must choose one?

Tarsiers can die easily if frightened. The Tarsier Sanctuary should really limit the amount of visitors a little bit better. You can ask the staff to take close up photos and/or videos of the tarsiers.
