Fronz is the vocalist of the metalcore band called “Attila”. They incorporate a lot of rapping in their music and Fronz is known for his fast rap screaming. He’s one hell of a vocalist and also has a side project called Bone Crew where it’s 50/50 metal and rap. For Electric Callboy from what I can recall it’s always been the same members. Back then they were more heavy than anything else.

I‘d call this „phase 3“ Phase one: The 1st EP & BURY ME IN VEGAS Phase two: WE ARE THE MESS & CRYSTALS (their „all killer, no filler“ album) Phase three: THE SCENE Phase four: REHAB (the most earnest phase - looking back on the album it feels like we should‘ve known that something was off and that something was gonna [had to] happen) Phase five: Since Nico filled in for Sushi - the phase we experience today FYI: The track WE ARE THE MESS (from the same album) already had a lot of similarities with Hypa Hypa (especially the structure). That also was the song that made me fall in love with EC back in 2013 (immediately joined by the older tracks MUFFIN PURPER-GURK & IS ANYONE UP). Would be great to see your reaction to that one.
They have so many good songs before Nico joined the band: Supernova, banshee, disbeliever, calling, crystals, rehab, hurricane, disbeliever, prism, VIP, new age,..... and so many more. The album 'Bury me in Vegas' is heavy with a lot of screaming. Rehab is also one of my favourite albums. Just check them out.
It really annoys me by now that all people think Electric Callboy only have stupid, fun songs like "Hypa, Hypa" or "Pump it". No, they don't, they've been around for 12 years and have much more to offer than that! Except for Sushi, the former singer, all the members in the video are still in the band today.
In this track I heart a little bit of many bands Korn,coal chamber,papa roach,limp bizkit for example....the result is kinda mainstream....first time I've heard Electric Callboy, interesting.

EC had a drummer change after the first album and a singer change before the release of Hypa Hypa.
