Pays (pronounced Pa-ee) generally means “country” in French, not in the political sense of a nation-state, but in the sense of the land and people of a region.
sir, you are the best teacher i have ever seen
I picked up a free 3-volume textbook series on Cultural Geography at the local college, the bookstore there gives away used textbooks when they are superseded by newer additions. I found these books fascinating, and want to learn more about this aspect of geography, all my studies have been in the physical sciences.
I have subscribed your channel already. I like your all videos. I am student of Geography, Central Department of Geography, Nepal. I got chance to learn about geographical thought. Very Much Thank You Sir.
Thank you...do share the videos with more students in Nepal...best wishes to you 🌱😊👍

Professor, would you happen to know when and where (which universities) the first academic degrees in geology and geography were granted? I hav tried to research this, without much luck. Thanks for another great lecture.
Prussia (Erstwhile Germany) in 1866-1870 first professors were appointed in geography department.
Thanks 😊

You are using tough language and not giving detailed information.
Join a classroom with live class and teacher to address your level of problem... youtube videos once recorded are inanimate...they don't respond....best wishes 🌱
