Complete false and fictional story shown here. Chandra nandini is completely false. Helena married chandragupta several years later of him becoming king. She was never his first queen. Yes it is true that dhananand daughter married chandragupta, but twist is that dhananand was king of magadh and nandini father, not brother. Matlab kuch bhi dikha do history ke naam.😂😂😂
This is literally a fictional story, because helena was around 17 when she married chandragupta who was around 38-39 at that time and dudhara was dead long ago. Helena wasn't even blond but she was extremely beautiful even chandragupta married her because he saw her somewhere and was moved by her beauty, chanakya described helena as the dangerously beautiful and stubborn as she was still in her teens, she was childish and stubborn in nature but She wasn't rebellious like showed in this story and there was no mention of nandini anywhere. Some historians said that king chandragupta married the daughter of dhananand but some also claimed that she was durdhara.
Chandragupta instantly fell in love with her when he saw her. After their marriage they spent their honeymoon period at Sindh for a long time, also because he had to consolidate his new territorial gains. After that he also brought her to Patliputra , she was pregnant then and in Patliputra she gave birth to her children and they all gained the title of Devi Kumar/Kumari. Megasthenes has mentioned a passing reference of his young sons in Indica.
Yes chanakya said that favourite of the king was stubbornly childish and difficult to control but she never went against her husband. Her extremely naive nature and her teenage easily made her fall in love with her husband who was the first man whom she had been romantically connected with and thats why she could so easily ignore their age gap and even cultural gap. She had grew up in a mixed cultural family and region and she could easily adapt other cultures. She used to wear jewellery and sarees and not Greek dress but still Tv shows like to alter real history as per their convenience

@@mitimiti9419 Nandini as a lady is nowhere mentions. Nand Nandini is the term Hemachandra used for daughter of Nanda. Nand Nandini married him when Nanda was already defeat by Chandragupta. Chanakya took pity on Nanda and made him leave with his essential items. He took two wives, a daughter and his treasure and left. On the road the family met Chandragupta. Nand Nandini when she first beheld Chandragupta fell immediately in love with him. She was staring at him making everyone uncomfortable. Chandragupta however ignored her as he was a gentleman. Nand allowed her to marry Chandragupta because as a princess she had right to choose her husband. Nanda left tearfully after blessing her. But when she reached at Chandragupta's chariot he got absolutely shocked and met an accident. He rebuked her for lusting him and leaving her father in distress and called her inauspicious. This shocked her but Chanakya took pity on Nandini and told Chandragupta she was auspicious and should accept her as she had no one left. Basically Chanakya saw Nand Nandini as an opportunity to gain favours of Amatya. So he accepted her as his wife. The character of Roopa which entered in the show later was orignal traits of Nanda Nandini. She lusted Chandragupta and for that she even left her father. Chandragupta kept her honourably but bitter enmity with DhanaNanda he could never be totally comfortable with her and death of Durdhara was final nail in the coffin of Chandragupta and Nand Nandini's relationship and he bursted out his anger on Nandini who wasn't involved in her death. None of Chandragupta's wives could take place of Durdhara. Nand Nandini was just a burden thrown on him by chanakya and Helena was a very beautiful, extremely beautiful young girl whom Chandragupta became enamored with and he fell in love with her. Helena's submission to him(possibly because she wanted favours for her father and due to young age) made their relationship very harmonious.
