They sure look like a lot of fun but since I've never tried it I'm afraid of throwing money away by crashing it. Before I was able to afford all of the equipment, I got started by just buying a cheap beta FPV radio (lite radio 3, around $30), then the liftoff simulator on steam ($20). That may be a good option for you to figure out whether you like the flight without having to spend all of the money.
If you check all drones awards how many geprc drones you can find? A lot. And how many iflight? Only one for freestyle drone. It explain why he did choose iflight evoque.
