One Man Show is one of the best classics. Absolute gem. I must say I don’t find it too soapy. Sung Homme is like spraying on instant Irish Soap. After a shower I really enjoy smelling soapy clean. The Azzaro Homme and Paco Rabbane Homme along with Sung Homme are my favourite soapy fragrances. The newer Azzaro leau Homme is lovely too.

They brought it back a few years ago, and it wasn’t bad, just a little weaker. The original formula was a “stealthy powerhouse”. Just when you thought it was gone, it kept hanging around. Thanks, again.

Great video,and you're right the modern version of sung Homme is great too. But have you tried vintage Z-14? You should get an older bottle if you see one.. Its one of the biggest differences between vintage and modern that I've ever smelled. The original is waaaay stronger and darker. They weakened it but 50-60% well, maybe 40 or something. But you should try vintage Z-14 if you get the chance. Awesome video as always. Oh is that bolwing Green cologne or EDT? They are completely different fragrances. But both are great. But the vintage,the one that says cologne on it is incredible.breath taking. It opens with this grassy and lemon mixed with a Drakker Noir vibe. And the new is still a very good fragrance. They are just different. Anyway,keep the reviews coming. Would love more then and now stuff too..
I am jealous of those saying its such a wonderful scent because thats what I expected from it as well, however got dissapointed. My batch barely was noticeable on my skin. A subtle, fresh, aldehydic scent for several minutes and its gone. Nobody even noticed I was wearing a fragr.

This was a great clip. I think Patrick is a fantastic fragrance for spring days, and it is excellent value. It is in the same family a Paco Rabanne Pour Homme with a less powerful soapy smell and also not the honey note I can detect in Paco Rabanne. I also really enjoy Azzaro Pour Homme. I was wondering if Sung would come up and then it appeared! :0) Thank you for a cracking little clip today.
I recently got that ! It’s great stuff, I personally don’t get a soapy vibe to me it’s more green like a smoother tsar, regardless it’s a very good scent I agree !
Hiya Kelan- One that I remember well from the Eighties, was called BENE' Cologne, by Ben Rickart(or Rickert)... apparently so rare now, at least I haven't seen any for over thirty years.... if you can get your nose on a sample, I'm certain that you'd LOVE it! Another one that he put out was called BENETAGE. Also pretty great! Another one that was absolutely MAGNIFICENT was Max Factor's "WOODS". I've seen bottles of that selling for $200 PLUS. And drugstores used to just about give it away back in the day. Speaking of soap, BOTH of those fragrances usually came furnished with the ubiquitous Soap On A Roap when you bought them 😂. CHEERS!

Like a flat ginger ale with cinnamon pressed into a brown bar of soap. 😆 But within the hour, it's painfully clear where Tom Ford got his inspiration for Italian Cypress. 🌲 'Twas the gold standard throughout the 70s and 80s. Urinal cakes and soap bars. 🧼

I should seek out the GMV, I’m old enough to remember that brand (also Armani, Basile, GFF, Versace etc) in the shops in Little Italy, Toronto where I live so can assume Italian style sophistication. Floris Elite definitely worth including too. Good job bro!

Those are all great picks (I have half of them). My list would also include Lanvin L'Homme (by Alberto Morillas). I enjoy wearing that one. Citrusy spicy fresh green lavender. The dry down is so pleasant!
I always felt like Irish Spring smelled like Drakkar Noir lite. Sung Homme is fantastic not too overpowering for what is quite “masculine” scent profile. 🤙
I find Jaguar for Men (composed in 1988) to be the most comparable to Irish Spring. Irish Spring smells like an off-brand impression of Jaguar for Men. In any case, I consider it to be one of the soapiest fragrances ever.
When I think of great soapy fragrances for men, Sung Homme is the first that comes to mind. Closely followed by Prada Amber Pour Homme. But maybe the Prada isn't your style?

Lomani pour homme is one of my favourites in this genre, cant beat its price and availability

Another soapy one that I don’t think gets enough love is Nautica Classic. It doesn’t last long but it’s smells fantastic and fresh.

It's curious, the Halston and the Gianmarco Venturi bottles both resemble the shape of Chinese snuff bottles from the late 1800's to early 1900's.
You have to try Vermeil Pour Homme. Hidden gem!

Creed Original Vetiver is a nice green soapy scent. But it doesn’t last too long and is a scandalous price.
