iz*one is, unfortunately, a temporary group!! they were formed in 2018 through a survival show (produce 48) and their contract says they're supposed to be together for 2.5 years. so that means they're going to last till next april :( their companies have been talking and discussing to see if it's interesting to all of them to extend their time together, but sadly there's no confirmation yet. they are literally one of the biggest girlgroups rn in korea.... they sell so many copies each comeback and they are SO successful!!!! as a wiz*one i've been praying that their contract can be extended bc like....... all of them belong in there you know. they have so much chemistry and they love each other so much 😿 anywayssss thank you for reacting to them again!!! if you'd like, pls check their latest mini album and also sequence's dance practice (its sooooo good)
Contract end in april 2021, they will renew contract or not still unknown. Its such a waste to disband because they are the 2nd best selling girlgrup in 2020 just behind blackpink, they are pretty popular in korea

Sadly it is true, I think they are disbanding the middle of 2021. Their contracts end and their respective companies want their trainees back. At most it could maybe one more year extension.
you guys really have no idea about why K wizones are not doing anything about their disbandment...We are sure that IZONE has already renewed their contract...IZONE is the first in the Universe that is the clear sign of renewing.

Things may be different this time since Mnet can’t keep pumping out groups through the Produce series and Izone is so big but if the members’ companies don’t come to an agreement about it then the girls will still end up disbanding in a few months (I believe April??)

IZ-ONE are the 12 final winner of produce 48 and this group have a 2,5 year's contract . before them I.O.I and WANNA ONE also won the produce show and also disband at the end of they're contract . but like some people said down below it's so annoying because every group disband at they're best I.O.I paved the way WANNA ONE TO and now IZ-ONE all of them are crazy good and crazy popular .and it's true than IZ-ONE is a second best album SELLER after BLACKPINK . every body hope they can renew they're contract . but they have some issue to do that in this group you have 3 japanese member and they're before iz_one in a japanese group name AKB48 and at the end of the iz-one contract they have to return in AKB48 .
of course izone will disband on april 2021 cause they have been part of produce season, their contract will end soon. [I'm a wiz*one but i will support what iz*one decisions in future]
you should also check loona's dance practice. i think you will like them. also memes videos. they are very funny. Izone are great also and i'm sure they will do what's best for each in the end :)

The decision whether or not they will be disbanding will be released early feb I believe ): I hope they stick around but that's based on how the negotiations go with the various members' agency. I dont think they were expecting the explosive popularity that this group has gained. In previous cases, the more comeback the group has, the sales usually take a dip and they are one of the few project temp groups that have continued to exceed previous comeback sale numbers. If their contract doesn't get renewed then they will be disbanding around April. With that timing they said depending on the timing, they would have at least one more comeback.
