I pray to God every morning and night and few times a day. I'm only a young man but everything is a gift , a gift from God. I see things differently than others. I thank God for food, music, movies, fitness, exercise, little things that people don't think about. Hot water, the telly you look at, everything is a gift. Amen , people keep your head up. Things will get better, amen

How true and beautiful Lorna ❣️ I have experienced this in the south of India. There was a prayer meditation space. Entering I saw the Ohm sign enlightening. And there were people of all religions meditating and praying together. Also nuns and I felt tearful and knew in my heart this is how it should be. And I wished there would come a space like this in The Netherlands where I live. 💞💖

Most of my prayers are of thanksgiving. For example, early in the morning when walking out to get the newspapers, I thank God for the fresh air and the weather. God has given me so many things, I never run out of subjects.

I have this little ritual where I pray for the cab driver as he drives me to my destination...A positive distraction from focusing on the traffic! It's beautiful to pray for strangers as it's truly a random act of kindness.

This made me feel so good. Thank you. I hold my rosary, but hardly ever say the words. You gave me the idea that the prayer is in the intention of holding it and connecting to the LOVE that is there.
There is a beautiful Rosary prayed daily on Utube led by such a gentle and lovely priest Father Pillari. I started listening and praying the Rosary a year ago and it has become the most peaceful part of my day. So many of us around the world pray along with this each day and it’s beautiful. There is beautiful singing also during this Rosary , very Angelic. I had my Risary beads since I was 12, I’m in my 50’s now and never really prayed the whole Rosary previously but each evening these days, I happily pray it with Father Pillari for 20 mins and love the singing and this young priest’s serene , wise and very compassionate words❤️🙏🏻⭐️
The channel is Regina Angelorum Press. I don’t always get to tune in at 5pm each day so I listen and pray along with it later at a time that I can set aside a little private space . So it’s a lovely thing , very enriching and such an enjoyable way to pray the Rosary and each day there are prayer intentions and so many in different countries are praying for those people at the same time🙏🏻❤️

U just inspired me to pray for people who are in the darkness, as I was at work and always prayed for people when I feel gd because I know when I feel gd I’m spreading light the most. Only to find people talking bad things about me. So now I realise I must pray for them the most to be of the light 🌈
Wow I commented before y finished ur first story only to find out it seems to correlate with my story a little. The people at my work were afraid of me in some way, Cleary these people are afraid of themselves, as what’s inside is outside. They are in delusion, they are in fear. I find it so important to be exclusive with people. We don’t seem to live in a place without division. Ur right for now we must stay exclusive.
We must pray in insolation like so many of the saints have done

It seems like the difference faiths believe only they have the "true and right" path to God and the other faiths are faulty. Christians often quote from the bible "I am truth the way and the light no one comes to the father but through me?"
Some faiths exclude women or men and women being together in prayer? Have you heard of the Baha'i religion where they tried to get all faiths under one tent? I wish that could happen sooner rather than later because it causes so much suffering to be afraid.

Like you said barriers are up.
If we educate ourselves about other religions it helps to replace fear with knowledge.
After all our common denominator is honoring The One, The Creator, God, The Father, Abba etc. and in the honoring, becoming the love that Is.

I wish that others thought as you do. I was raised in the Protestant faith but have left all formal religion. I have studied the thoughts of other religions and find some beautiful depth I each. Mine is simple. It is just a relationship with God. I talk in prayer and then stop and be quiet. Answers usually come within a few weeks. Angels have presented themselves in a number of ways. I don’t need a formal structure or any faith to tell me what I am supposed to believe.

I lost a beautiful 2 Yr old grandchild to Cancer. I prayed so positively and strong for his recovery however, this did not happen and Oisin died. I am finding it so hard to pray now. I feel Oisin should have lived.

Aloha Lorna, writing you from Hawai’i. I was raised Catholic and i felt all that you have shared from when I was a little girl. In Jesus example, he was born and raised a Jew and he believed in prayer. The noble doesn’t say he prayed a Jewish prayer, it simply shared he prayed! And his example was as you share! Have Faith in the Almighty Father who’s not the Father of one tribe…. Believe, Have Faith, Love One Another.
