Hua Mui I feel is very average and expensive. The coffee for example is almost the same price as Singapore. The ba ku teh I wasnt aware you could sit in a nice section. I sat in the old place and our utensils were not presented nicely like yours. Again I find it very average. The reviews can be manipulated. I suspect the owners themselves wrote inauthentic reviews

我是新山人，以前也有在市中心工作的经验，那个基本上是最低薪资，不容易啊，但一般上班族还是在3000左右，然后通常不会每餐吃冷气茶室，那家华美价格也偏高，那里还有更便宜的咖啡店，在金龙咖喱后面，我以前常去city square 隔壁的Merlin tower food court 吃5到6块的经济饭，但已经是10年前的物价，现在应该在8到10块吧😅商场里的食物确实不能天天去吃，要不然薪水都拿去吃光了😅

你们走的完全是经典游客路线=有点名气但味道不怎么样。华美，椰丝面包，世华肉骨茶都是游客餐厅。但作为游客基于时间金钱考量也很难移动去其它当地人的区域。市区物价都是高出10-20%，底薪RM1700通常还会有加班奖励之类，加到来都是RM2千多的。
新山City Square的老年顾客大多是来新山购物和用餐的新加坡退休人员，因为新加坡的生活成本非常高。他们正在享受优惠！

口味因人而异。我本身比较喜欢南马的肉骨茶，能喝出猪骨熬出来的清甜香味，而不是被药材或白胡椒所盖过。而已我不加其它料，因为味道会变掉。。
