I assume that this channel is one of the best ones i have ever seen 😍 it's a great idea to propose such topics under the name of the common confusing structure in English language because you think as all the learners think and you choose closely English structure make us confused and bewildered about the cause of choice and the difference between them. Bravo you are very good teacher 👍
Simply stupendous! You are on fire! Since I watch your videos with utmost interest, I noticed a rare slip of tongue from our beloved teacher when she said can is used for specific ability. Stay safe!
Hi Jennifer! Your one hour English lesson requires a lot of attention and concentration, but it’s so rewarding, clear , and above all quite motivating! Come back soon! You rock 🎉😅
JFORREST: You are really fantastic in the way you approaches every important issue of the language for all English learners. Thank you!! Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!!
Thanks a lot, Jennifer it was a really useful lesson for us and I learned a lot of things while I was watching the video, especially how English writing instruction works coz I'm not good at grammar most of the I used to focus on listening and speaking but these days I'm trying to understand the rules of English grammar and this video was eye-opening for me once again thanks a lot and keep good work you are doing!

With regard a "was and were" 8.49 min. David Lee Roth in his song "Damn Good" sing "Man, we was happy in our restless hearts" but next is (correct) "Yeah, we were laughin' as we reached for the stars". The next verse "Can you beliee that was you?". Could you explain why? And "beliee" mean "belive"?
Thanks a lot. As always, relevant topics in understandable way! I would like to ask you if can I ask some questions related with some words which are similar in pronunciation , even in meaning to differ them?
Hi Jennifer, I've come across 'rather than+ root verb' a few times both in speaking and writing; for example: "Rather than give up, we need to keep going."...so do we view 'than' as a preposition here, thus use a gerund 'giving' like you explained in the lesson, or is that sentence accepted as gramatically correct? - a bit confused English learner.
I understood the two words and the difference between them during your explaining. I understood the meaning of these things words while you were explaining them. You are a smart teacher, girl .💖

Hi Jennifer
Are there any tips for me on how to quickly understand English movies?
That's what we do in the Finally Fluent Academy! You can learn more on my website: www.jforrestenglish.com

Good question!
Please also keep uploading English with news ❤
Will do!

Mam in my opinion after prefer we have to use 'to+infinitive form
Yes, you can!
Another point you could explain is the difference between UNTIL and BY.
I have that one here: th-cam.com/video/5_JFALdJVFc/w-d-xo.html
I live in São Paulo, but currently I'm living in Rio de Janeiro.
Mam could you pls tell me the use of could never in English with an example ?

As a teacher I guarantee you that , these words are very important because so many students got confused with them.
Exactly! Native speakers too ;)
I was surprised by the present
Yep!
Hi, I'm your regular student. I need your help. Can you please help me?
I always get confused between these two -
'It's a kind of books' or 'It's a kind of book'
Please answer the question.
a = one so you need BOOK (singular) :)
