What would Vs life in Night City actually look like? Besides doing merc-work and trying to survive I wanted to see more of her going out with the girls, destroying the asphalt in an all powerful Quadra, banging everything in sight, flirting with her digital ghost and generally trying to have fun!
The official canon is optional here, forget "but how??" This is my variant of the game's story. This is canon for me! And you can not convince me otherwise! :-D :-D :-D
Also this is my first foray into the world of machinima. I'm still new to this so expect some jankiness and amateur-mistakes.

That video reminds me of when the game originally was released. To keep it short i was addicted, 1 month cyberpunk from day to night, awesome stories and 4 full playthroughs 😂. This video gave me this exact feeling back. Thanks for this awesome vid. Excited for episode 2❤.

@@nhannguyen4847 Yes! I feel this! But take your time and do not rush! Although you WANT to live through it and will probably play through it many times there is only ever gonna be just once you can experience this game for the first time. Don‘t speedrun through this too quickly 😊

@@soulbiker2277 Ah, just chaining lots of methods onto each other. Free cameras, spawned npcs, animations and poses combined, custom facial animations, ripped dialogue and music from the gamefiles, all edited together so that it makes sense. Honestly it‘s not rocket science. It’s just a looot of work 😁
And a lot of workarounds for the myriad of bugs arising from these methods 🙄
I really really want to know what you're talking about and how you made it happen!? Like all these characters in one place, where Zod is Dj'ing, the girls are dancing, Moxxy chick on dude's shoulders... HOW!?!
@@Nick-kv8dx Ah, ok. Then you should start with a mod called „Appearance Menu Mod“. Get it over at Nexusmods. Make yourself familiar with it. It has its own Discord for support and there and on TH-cam you can learn spawning characters and stuff and making them pose and a lot more.
Everything else comes after that.
We can see the crazy work behind this masterpiece, not a single false note, everything is perfect! I have tears in my eyes because it made me vibrate so much, GG Choom ! Can't wait for the second !

Choom...this is absolutely phenomenal! I got so into it I completely zoned out and watched the entire video at my desk and didnt even notice that the time flew by. I am so in love with this, anxiously awaiting whatever is next. And V mattered, she matters so much to us all. Thank you for this.
I‘m grateful that you feel that way and I‘m happy to have done something you enjoyed.
But… I fear that you‘ll be disappointed. At the moment I‘m not planning to return to V and her story. I‘m burned out a bit after spending hundreds of hours on this and actually plan to make this into a kind of Night City anthology, probably telling other stories of other people. If things turn out well I might hire some voice actors to have completely new characters live in Night City… or I might do one more story with V.
Got no idea where this will go and a million ones at the same time… we‘ll see, choom! 😁🖖🏻

Wochenende will ich mit der Fortsetzung beginnen. Auch wenn es anfangs alle schlecht gemacht haben, es ist eines der Spiele die ich kenne nur schade das V nicht wirklich ein gutes ende hat. @@afroronin299 Thx for the sub and like. Concerning mods I have a pretty accurate modlist with some of my earlier videos. You can take a look there.
Mainly I use Otis camera tools for the unlocked camera movement and Appearance Menu Mod for spawning and posing the characters as well as some facial expression mods.
Can’t imagine how long it take to make this masterpiece, appriciate your work 👍😁

I didn't know what to expect when I clicked on this, but damn! Honestly that was freakin amazing. I'm sure this took a very long time to shoot and edit. I really enjoyed the camera work too. Graphics are top notch too. You must have a sweet rig. Keep up the good work.

Rig is an I9 with a 4090.
Next episode is in the works but will probably take more than 2 months because there are other factors this time which could take more time to solve.

Genuinely excellent! This feels like the CP77 experience we were promised from the original E3 trailer way back!
Absolutely stunning work, the music is spot on and the overall "feel" is perfect. So many great moments, especially loved the Batmobile sequence and your V is beautiful too. The drive-in scene with everyone turning up was awesome, then the kicking mood-shift was *chefs-kiss*. This is now easily my favourite CP77 video... I hope you can do more (and I know that's a major ask as they are probably a nightmare to make!)

Yeah, the mood-shift at the end when the NIN-song kicks in was also my favorite moment and the one I was most nervous about. Because if that wasn't done well it would probably have ruined the whole thing.
I absolutely plan to do more. But yes, they take a long time and cause a lot of frustration so it's probably ganna be some weeks or months for episode 2.
And yeah, it was Lucy at the Afterlife. In my canon she came back from the moon and is active in NC. I want to do more with her in one of the next videos. Let's see if I can grab some good voicelines from the anime or find a voice-actress with a similar-sounding voice (or even get the original voice-actress on board! 😁)

I'm the same about Lucy, I can imagine her returning from the moon sad because she did not have anyone with her there. Seeing what you did with the dialogue here, I'm sure you can grab stuff from the anime - but it might be difficult as she was surprisingly quiet ;)

It's crazy. I've probably beaten this game like 5 or 6 times doing every side mission over and over is just so breathtaking. I just want to say I really appreciate you for making this video. This is freaking awesome, holy c*** it really gave me that ending that I really wanted. You know what I mean like I hope in the second game. They add more to the characters that we already have. That will be so sick. I know v has a short time to live. At least give us like the casino ending, or what it's like living with panam I don't know, maybe multiple playable characters. David martinez's game would be fire maybe they could make a cure for v, and it'll be like her last chance I don't know. Maybe a time machine lol.

@@casualfitnessjourney8621 Thank you 🙏 Essentially I spawn npcs (and also assets, things, lights and so on) with a mod called „Appearance Menu Mod“. And with that mod I can do a whole catalogue of things like assign poses and animations and facial expressions to them. Also choose whatever weather state I like, choose the time of day and more. I can make npcs move from A to B.
And with „Camera tools“ by Otis I can unlock the camera and move it around freely and let it fly along a predefined path.
And with Reshade I can use various visual effects like hi-quality depth-of-field and more to spice up the whole visuals.
Chaining all of that together gets me footage I can use in the editing program to create something like this.

Compared to something like „Arcane“ it isn’t 😁 For me it was basically 2 months of daily nonstop work every free minute where I wasn‘t sleeping, working or doing household. Yeah, it is a lot but like I said, compared to other productions it’s miniscule. And I loved it so it wasn‘t really work.

@@Neverfadeaway_vp 1 advice: Get your frustration-tolerance waaaaayyy up, choom! 😁 Because it will happen that the game crashes or AMM will bug out and hours of work get ruined. Or that you realize that what you envisioned simply doesn‘t work or that it doesn‘t work like you‘re doing it. So if you‘re easily frustrated and throw in the towel maybe work on that first. Otherwise you‘ll be fuckin stressed out! 🤣
Start small. Start with photos. These are infinitely easier (not easy, but not as complex as video) to do! You‘ll have more success and get your knowledge up.
Learn reshade, how it works, how to correctly apply the depth-of-field-effect.
Copy others (but give them credit or the community WILL flame you! 😁)! Learn by doing.
Play around. Test what works and what doesn‘t. Then gradually get more complex.
Learn about photo-basics, the rule of three, light-theory. All of these help tremendously. Read blogs and watch channels by other virtual photographers or -videographers.
And be willing to invest a shitton of time! From my first forays into virtual photography to virtual videography I spent way more than 1000 hours with that shit and I’m nowhere near a master. So if you want quick success, better look somewhere else.
I don‘t want to demotivate you but you should know what you‘re getting yourself into. Not to throw in the towel before you even start but to understand that, if you don‘t get good results right from the start, it‘s absolutely normal. Understanding all the intertwining mods and tools and concepts and so on takes a lot of time. Give yourself that time and you will get better!

His work was one of the main inspirationms for me to get into this and it will Show you what else is possible with this!
@NightCityNomad can I ask how you got the audio of them talking in the video? And I'm assuming you used director mode in AMM to get the characters to walk? Ugh so many questions. I did find a tutorial on how to use otis_inf so I just need some assistance with what you used in AMM

@@blixsa1179 Nah, don‘t look at it that way! Game-development works like this - the devs build A LOT of stuff but end up thrashing a lot too. Like cut scenes in a movie! They didn‘t feel right for them.
But I LOVE to explore that cut content. It’s like a layer of ruins with their own story.
There's already so much depth. Like River Ward super cop story being played during the Heist or even small convo where a Tyger Claw is complaining about seeing visions in his optics, beautiful and scary. Link that up to the cyberpsycho seeing god/religion, Lilith, Gary, the random preachers about Night City being 10th circle of Hell ...

@@NightCityNomad I'm not good at video production, but I have a spawnable version of my V via AMM. I send her to help my friends out in games all the time, cause she's scripted to fight. I even encourage them to give her my own signature weapons in the game (Lizzie, Mox Carnage, etc).

@@NightCityNomad I can find the tutorial I learned from, but a lot of it was trial and error and crying on my keyboard. LOL. I made a few several versions, too, because I kept updating my V.
@@dazzlinggleams That would be greatly appreciated. For the 2. episode there is a scene where I need 2 different Vs at the same time which is only possible with an NPV.
