Thank you for teaching me THE MINI BEAN STITCH! I'M GOING TO BE making some baby blankets to donate to the preemies in Hospitals in Boston ,Massachusetts! And now I have a new and different pattern to follow and make for them! Thank you again !! Take care & STAY HEALTHY!
A good way to use up any leftover yarn is to make smaller blankets & donate them to animal shelters. The 4 legged critters in shelters really love them, they're not picky about colors, they just like them soft & cuddly, so please consider it.
@@caryulmer5578 I’m learning to crochet so my first many blankets probably won’t be the prettiest, so this sounds like an amazing idea! Do you know what size would be best? Thank you ❤️
@@sofiad6713 Well, I nyxed the queen size. 😅 I frogged it and restarted it as just a throw. It still looks just as amazing as the queen size, but much more manageable. When I ised to get just 10 rows out of a skein, I now get upwards of 20. I should have it done by the end of the month.
We are making the crochet old-fashioned throw today, and it is Brown about 3 yards a beautiful blanket. Nothing like knit and crochet to odored the house or apartment, the old fashion remedy looks better then store bought it gives elegance....
Making this right now and using Lion Brand Basic Stitch, it's turning out beautifully! I am new at crocheting and was worried it would be over my abilities but the video was incredibly helpful! Still feel like I'm faking it through the last stitch in each row but the pattern is so forgiving I just keep going! Thank you for the video! I would never make it without such a helpful tutorial!
Thank you for sharing this pattern I just loved it so much ! I am gonna use this pattern, so easy and so lovely to crochet. I am gonna make one to wash/soap my body when showering. Thanks!!
I’m confused, I keep going into the third chain from the hook and I’m ending up with an odd number and an extra stitch at the end. Is it an even number plus 1?
Looks pretty! So on the second row you make the stitch on the skipped chain. Right? This yarn is expensive. I'll be using any medium weight size 4 yarn. Thank you
Hi .. QUESTIONS ⁉️❓⁉️❓⁉️ I have questions about ur chevron farmhouse blanket.. but since the video is like 5 years old I thought I’d ask questions here on a more recent video of urs even though it’s a year old too. Here’s the questions… I was curious what was the width of ur blanket here? U did 83 chains u mentioned.. so was that 83 chains including the plus 15 extra chains at the end? Or did u do 83 chains here then added the extra 15 without mentioning here? I like this pattern I’m needing for a baby blanket I need to do but I’m needing to make mine 40” width x 60” length.. how do I know how many of the 17 plus 15 I need to make it to the width I need? Also.. I can’t tell in ur photos of blanket but how many chevrons does this blanket have in the row? Since u made a foundation chain of 83… what and how many chevrons does that give u? Thank you 🙏🏻 Please help!! 🙏🏻
Can you answer me ? The first time you went into the third but the one after you went into the second.. the said to continue in that way ! Do I do one in the third and one in the second everytime or I keep with the second?
How long do you (or anyone reading this comment) think it would take on average to finish this throw size blanket for a total beginner who gives it a couple hours everyday?
Depends on how fast and efficient you move. As well as the size of your yarn. It takes me 6-7 days to make a blanket like that size. But it can take longer for a complete beginner. Sorry if this isn’t helpful, and that I’m so late!
Love the video 💕 The only problem is that the pattern is no longer available and I don’t know how many chains do I have to make if I wanna make a throw. Can anyone please help me out.
I like this throw thank you for sharing it. But you may want to mention in the beginning that this tutorial is not for beginners because you don't go into detail or go slow enough for a beginner to follow.
I believe it depends on the size you want to make. She has the full pattern and yardage chart on her blog. For a baby blanket size, you'd need about 6 skeins of Touch of Cashmere.

I am overly ambitious by nature. I am making this as a queen blanket 😳😳 Wish me luck
Felt, I just started learning crochet and I’m making a throw...
:((( Good luck!
@@bean3114 To top it, I decided to use marino wool. The dang thing is gonna cost me a good 450$ to finish😱😅

Finally a tutorial where a huge needle/hook isn’t required! This is great, gonna try this when my equipment arrives
I agree!

I like this stitch. The finished project gives the look of the corner to corner stitch but easier. 🤗
Great tutorial. I love learning new stitches. I also love the way your nail color matches the yarn color ❤️
Hello Pamela
Exactly what im looking for .. throw without visible holes... beans make it intact and fill the space.. thank you .
I was wondering that! Is it a nice solid blanket, or does it have holes in the finished project?
this is a pretty stitch. I was browsing through trying to find a neat looking stitch to make my mom a wheelchair throw. Thank you!
I love this pattern I’m on my 3rd Afghan. Thank you for this pattern and the time you spent posting it.

Thank you for sharing with us.
How many skeins is required for the 'throw?'
The chart on her website suggests 18.2 skeins, so 19 skeins, of Lion Brand's "A touch of cashmere" yarn, for a total of 4000 yards.
How many stitches for the chain
Thank you for the tutorial Ashleigh, your patterns are beautiful.
Beautiful blanket ! Love the color 😊
I luv it, so u don’t have to have a specific number count for this throw
Hello Mary
Thank you for sharing
Love your blanket
Love the yarn your using. Can't wait to start this beauty
I just made this blanket. Is there an edge that could be used? It's a very lovely pattern. Thank you for sharing your talents.:)
Hi Linda

I’m confused, I keep going into the third chain from the hook and I’m ending up with an odd number and an extra stitch at the end. Is it an even number plus 1?

You are an excellent instructor.

Hi That looks very pretty.
One question please.
Do you do the mini bean stitch on the chain one space ?
Thanks. I'll wait for your answer
We have the same thumbs 😍😍😍
This is beautiful I’m trying this it’s winter here in Australia 💖
I'm not good with grams and calculations. How many balls of this yarn did you use to make this blanket? Thank you!
I only made a throw blanket then I wanted a chunky chenille blanket and I made a queen sized one they’re absolutely gorgeous
Easy peasy and great.
Very nice tut and I like your speed. Thx

What's the minimum skein do I need for a baby blanket
Hey so for it to be loose and nice for between summer and winter time what size hook and what size yarn do I need?
Is this pattern still free? I love it!
Very nice video. Thanks ❤️
By repeat do you mean that we keep skipping one? After the third one?
Does anyone know how many balls of yarn I will need to purchase to make this throw blanket?
Depends on skein size and the yarn it is lol
How much yarn in total does it use up?
Love the video 💕
The only problem is that the pattern is no longer available and I don’t know how many chains do I have to make if I wanna make a throw.
Can anyone please help me out.
Depends on how big you want it, but she had chain 184 for a regular throw.

Erdem my friend said your nail polish is cute

Me finding this video a week after I finished the project using her Etsy pattern lol
I enjoy this pattern, I have made 6 blankets for Christmas, but I used Bernat Baby Blanket. They turned out beautiful.
So for a king size, I'd have to chain 108?
Can you use any color for boy blanket

You are charging for the stitch count?
How much yarn do you need for this project?
I believe it depends on the size you want to make.
She has the full pattern and yardage chart on her blog. For a baby blanket size, you'd need about 6 skeins of Touch of Cashmere.
