- I bought some small canvases from @spotlightmediacentre to test out my new shipment of colourarte pigments. I use these smaller cheap canvases to try my colours on before I go big on the expensive boards. I was blown away by the colour of these tests. I just love the results of these acrylic pours. The colour shift in these pigments is out of control. I sell these ones at the market or give them away in my art drops. I love the idea of a little kid finding this art in an unexpected place.

Love your idea about the giveaways. I do make coasters from tiles and coat them with KD Diamond finish so they don’t stick. I give a set away at my classes as a door prize but now you have given me another idea.
Who else feels like they would MUCH rather listen to Shelee talk (even if that means hearing the kiddos in the background some or even a lot of the time) over listening to the “looping jingle” any day of the week?🙋🏻♀️👍🏼🖤
Thanks Ashley! I keep the talking ones when and where I can, I don't mind having everyone hearing them in the videos, but when they're screaming and you can't hear me and it distracts me from my train of thought noone wants to hear that....including me ha ha

Since I totally agree with your position/ feelings about the music.
But, while Shelee does seem to be a nice enough person and all-and maybe I could even see her being someone I wouldn’t mind hanging out with/ befriending in real life. (As far as I can tell anyway, but that’s not much to go on though admittedly/ and I don’t really know anything about her)
BUT, that being said, I’m afraid you may have misinterpreted where I was actually trying to ‘very politely’ come from with what I was trying to get across in my comment. But this is what I was getting at: I do prefer to hear her talk about what she’s doing/her process out loud in order to better understand what she’s doing and how and why she does it etc. etc. And that I would gladly take the sound of a kid or two piping up here or there during a video OVER having to listen to any YT video (not just Shelee’s) that uses these looped segments of music! Since listening to the majority of it is just like nails on a chalk board to me 🤯unfortunately😰.
And before you remind me about the option to just mute the vid, there’s just one other issue that I’d like to point out (one that I know also applies to more than just myself)-which is that I listen to/ watch these videos while I’m painting, but first I queue several videos all up In a row via my chromecast before I begin painting from one room which is separate from the one that I actually paint in.
Therefore, once I’ve begun painting, I’ll be ‘elbow deep’ in paint and have no way of controlling the volume of the tv etc. from that room. That is of course unless I stop and run back into the other room in order to quickly turn it off or down in time before my head figuratively explodes; but doing this tends to be a bit messy, as doing so tends to leave behind a trail of paint to and fro the receiver, but mostly just on the receiver itself. None of which is fun to clean up or have to deal with at all actually. Well, any who,

But I must admit, I’m still very curious to know what it was about my previous/original comment that indicated to you that I was seeking or signaling to Shelee that it was my aim/ goal or desire to befriend her rather than to just get across all the aforementioned info? Giving your art to unsuspecting recipients is such an awesome idea!!! Love it. I’ve done that with my jewelry and people are so appreciative; a bright spot in their day for sure. Thanks to you, I’ll be picking up some of those small canvases. Love your creations!!!

Absolutely love the paintings! I think that it's just so awesome how you give away the ones you really don't want and leave them for people to find. What an awesome thing to do!! As far as the kids go, I personally don't mind, I think it's great to hear them, you are human, kids are most important and it's ok for them to be heard to!! What do you do to clean up the back of paintings you do sell?
Just stunning!! Do you put alcohol or Resiblast in your resin or do you have to use a certain type/brand of color, i.e., liquid, mica powder, alcohol ink, resin paste or can you create this with any type of colored resin? I'm itching to try this & you make it look so easy, but with my track record, I have a feeling mine will just look like a blob.
Hi Lisa, Shelee uses clear resin to finish off her artwork, no colour is added to the resin at all. She uses Barnes Epoxy Resin it is amazing. All the gorgeous colours you see are pigments in the paints Shelee mixes - Wonderful Colourart Pigments!!!!!!! Thank you Admin
