Thank you for your question. This lamp is intended to be used on a table, desk or other stable work surface. We do not recommend suspending it from a ceiling or operating the lamp upside-down.

I bought this product, it looks great, it magnifies great. The springs are much too weak to support the weight of the head unit. The arms will not stay in place as they droop down to the work surface, unlike what is shown in the video! I had to rig a bungee cord and zip tie to keep the device from moving. The customer service center said, there were no adjustments, and there wasn’t anything more that could be done! Not what I expected from a $250+ piece of….. equipment!
