Drill and tap the yoke in the middle near the centre bearing. And install a set screw. Also put a grease fitting opposite the set screw. Drill a hole in the skid plate to grease. My dealer did this after i told them to and it got rid of 95% of the problem
Take delivery of mine tomorrow 22 max XT. Apparently you can just order an aftermarket bearing carrier for the Maverick Max and it should fit. Perhaps a better solution than the cardboard
For the door weird door handle, the handle pushes on a rod inside of it that releases the latch. Over time the rod bends and then doesn’t push on the interior latch so it becomes useless. Fishers off road Atv channel took the door apart and made a fix for it. They have a video about it on their channel
they had to replace my whole axle for the rattle. there's apparently around 100 rivets in the belly pan. lol. once warranty is done I my invest in a rivet gun.
Is there a lot of drivetrain noise on the Commander? My son has the Maverick and the howling/growling is so loud you have to wear ear plugs. Also how is the heat in the cab? I had the 2013 and the heat was crazy hot! I had to put heat and sound matting on all the interior panels around the tunnel and heat tape on the exhaust pipe
I believe it’s mostly the driveline that is creating the noise, nothing else, it is in the shop right now to get fixed. I haven’t noticed any excessive heat like the old commanders.
I got the mirrors from my dealer, they are Can-Am mirrors, with the upper doors you can only see the driver mirror not the passenger side, I think seizmik makes some mirrors that mount higher
It works pretty well, it definitely is much less air flow than a flip up windshield, I have not ridden with it yet in hot weather so we will see how it does
@@perillopropertymaintenance8600 I have that windshield in my ‘22 XTP. I live in Oklahoma, in the summer it’s almost unbearable in the cab. I can’t really feel any air through the vents. I would not get this windshield again.

So you went from 28s to 32s? Do you now if the base model that has 27s can go up to 32s?

Did you fix the rattle yet? I’ve had mine since 22 and it still does it. Dealer replaced the drive shaft and it’s better but still there.
Never got it fixed, sold the machine last month

Where did you get the mirrors. I have the the max xtp with upper door. I also have the same issue with the driveline rattle.

Did you have to change anything other than the wheel offset to fit the 32” tires?
No I did not, the 32s fit just fine
Did you add a lift kit to install those 32s ?
No it was stock height
Have you had to upgrade your clutch by running the 32’s?
No I have not, so far haven’t noticed much of a difference
How do you like the vented windshield
It works pretty well, it definitely is much less air flow than a flip up windshield, I have not ridden with it yet in hot weather so we will see how it does

Still has not been fixed. Supposedly there is an OEM fix from Can Am that my dealer is waiting for to fix it, we will see

I'm looking to put on 30X10 tires on my 2022 XT. Did you have to lift the vehicle for the larger tires?
I put 32s with no lift, 30s will fit just fine
