Well, I've been living in Singapore for more than 7 years. I can absolutely say the best tasting Singaporean food are the ones prepared by the pioneer generations who has their stalls operated far away from the MRT area and has been operating for more than decades long. I used to think Singaporean food is bland until I learn to explore more of Singapore. My advise to everyone: Don't just simply stop by any food stalls near the MRT stations because you will not necessarily find much of good tasting food in these area.

Within SG there is good nasi lemak and bad nasi lemak. Same goes for Malaysia. This itself is a bias already. Unless you go for the way they cook things which affects the flavour - for eg. Batkuteh where SG is the peppery type and Malaysia is the herbs type.

I am Chinese not born in China. And fan of Korea and teams that play Korea at group stage like Portugal in 2022. Wonder what teams do Malaysians and Singaporeans like at the Fifa world cup?

It does not matter which country the foods belong to, as long as the taste is great and superb, i don't mind to give higher rate and repeat order.
