They play like out mids in fifa
Biggest problem is the "Magical" through ball. Defense have no clue what is happening, sometimes, actually lots if times, they run away from the ball. And whats with the forcefield around players with the ball?
Fifa 21 my friend. It's hard sometimes impossible to defend those magic through balls.
Can you tell my players where to get that forcefield? They seem to have mislaid it
@@badwolf7777 Your players ha ha 😂 it is in the game. You cannot run into another player you bounce off. You should be able to run into whoever u like. I hate this and the feeble defending as it is how I am scoring on average around 6 goals per game which is just plain wrong. I've scored 16 goals in one game that is my lifetime record happened on Fifa 21. Joke game.

The game used to be about playing good fit all and passing better than your opponent and took actually soccer IQ now it’s all about “speed glitches” and being out paced... I’m really bummed because this the first fifa game I’ve bought where I’m disappointed

all my opponents do is play 1 through pass and my defense is gone
The divisions are always a lot more competive in the beginning of fifa, just keep practice
Man, it keeps bouncing off my players and leaving the opponent open for shots, like my players dont react to the ball, i think its a bug hopefully they fix it soon

Thanks so much for this video! I was on a 5 season losing streak against my friend and I watched it and swept him after. Got me down from conceding like 4-5 goals a game to conceding only 1-2. Big help

Not letting the AI let the defending for you. Last fifa you could put down the controller and let the AI do the work for you. Now you have to do is yourself, or your fucked..

your right transition from fifa 20 is difficult. i feel my level has dropped especially in defence i dont know what is going on half the time.surely they will change the animations a bit in the coming patches
mate the defenders are jokesters. goalies same thing. neuer is GARBAGE. he literally lets in every shot! every time i try to clear a ball they stumble like morons which leads to them scoring. honestly you might as well not have defence and spend all your coins on neymar and mbappe. those 2 alone will win the game for you.

for real. especially as someone who literally first enjoyed football as a sport overall and it began when i tried the game towards the end of Fifa 19 I was smoking hash and usually say fuck fifa i dont play football, never was into it as a kid, never was then, but i was high so thought fuck it ill try, by Fifa 20 I finally joined my families long history as lifelong LFC supporters, people call me a glory hunter but what am i supposed to do I literally only got into football at 21 years old when every I know got into it as kids and generally understand the mechanics throughout the years. So as much as i try I can't keep up with most my mates but i want to eventually smash them. This tutorial might be obvious for others but defo useful for me as football mechanics are very nuanced and requires knowledge of the sport in the real world, probably in real life and then playing each version since Fifa 01. Even if i am shit, i fucking love a bit of Fifa lol

1. (IMPORTANT) BEFORE you start the game make sure that Fifa 21 IS NOT installed on your computer.

The legendary mode gave me alot of trouble yesterday. I tried all of the tricks in defense but they still managed to score 3,4 goals.

It really doesn’t matter how much I learn in defending... When the game decides the odds are against you, your ai defenders will simply move out of the way and let your opponent scores. Yes It doesn’t happen every match, but it happens.

i was playing in the 3rd division in Germany and teams were dribbling past my defence like they were prime Barca. Every attacker seems to dribble like Neymar and its frustrating cause my defenders are like cones.
Your defenders are cones because you aren’t controlling them. You are one of the people spoiled by the op ai defending over the last few years. If you want your defenders to make tackles you have to quickly switch to them. That requires skill and that’s why people think there’s something wrong with defending. People just need to get good

Division 1 player last 2 fifas this year struggled to get out of div 8 on the last game.
I get they wanted more attacking play bu there is no need for the difference in pace an acceleration between defence an attack an the keepers are useless

But it is true that ai defenders have been overpowered since fifa 17 and now that they aren’t people think defending is broken because they don’t realise they’ve been crutching on ai for the last 3 years. This is a fact not an opinion.

Try and slide tackle more, like boras said it's the best non bullshit way to get the ball. I've been using it for 50 matches and never had a red. Just wait until they can't reach the ball to move or are receiving it and throw it out.

You’re hilarious. This Fifa is the best in years. Huge skill gap. If you have a football brain you are rewarded for that. You can’t just park the bus playing 4231 and counter anymore, you have to play actual football.

@@APinkS14 nah it's not just me that thinks this way look at the overall user score recorded so far on any major scoring site, metacritic etc on there out of nearly 400 reviews the user score sits around 1.1 out of ten which is atrocious. The player base has been in massive decline for fifa for years as people are sick of buying into the ea cash cow.

Defensive awareness is a massive stat to have with defenders this year.
