Hey man great video! I would say if you make another maybe take the bubble noises out, or limit them. Like if you want to keep them you can just keep them when you move between levels but having it after every point is a little annoying after point.
It's weird to me that the "crookshanks belonged to the potters" and "the dementors can sense voldemort in Harry" is on the lowest tier, it's theories that I've seen thrown around for so long by so many people.
the horcrux making process cant involve eating the body, because when Voldemort kills his dad to make the ring horcrux, the people who find the body describe it as looking as though he just dropped dead for no reason
44:50 Fred and Geroge saw Peter with Ron on the map... It's possible they did and didn't think much about it. I'll explain... First, Peter was a "dead" Gryffindor in a castle full of ghosts not all of which are easily seen, and most didn't die at Hogwarts. Second, Ron got Scabbers from Percy so the twins would have seen Peter on the map before Ron ever went to school and Scabbers didn't go everywhere with Ron. My guess is they just thought Peter was another ghost who liked resting around Ron's bed and liked following his around. If the Ghost wasn't visible, to tell Ron about it they'd have to reveal the map to him. Not really worth it to them and they get to have a private laugh about Ron's ghost friend.
The thing with the pigs bladder is actually true. When football was first invented in England, they would play it with pigs bladders because they had no rubber or plastic to make it with.
26:28 don’t know what the spell was, but James and Sirius got detention for using an illegal hex. So there are hexes that are not allowed, but not unforgivable
But if Harry was negatively affecting the Dursleys while being a Horcrux, how come he never negatively affected Ron and Hermoine while being a Horcrux?
38:16 No, the theory is that the sorting hat has the fidelius charm put on it, and the sorting hat is the secret keeper, and that is why in the epilog of Deathly Hallows, Harry is able to talk to Albus (Harry's son, not the headmaster), about the sorting hat, because the sorting hat technically dies in the battle of Hogwarts when Voldemort put the sorting hat on Neville's head and burned it.
1:17:25 I have a theory about, “I AM LORD VOLDEMORT.” Tom really hated his name, and after an incident and he was particularly furious and he saw the letters rearrange themselves. I wonder if Voldemort ever worried or wondered if Snape had switched sides away from him after he killed the love of Snape's life. I think he might not have worried about it because of his dislike of needing his followers as much as they need him. I feel like he might not have wondered about it since he himself never could understand love, but I wonder if he ever thought about it since Snape worked where he did and were to be according to Voldemort, his man on the inside.

... What about Floo Powder for Hagrid getting to Godric's Hollow? If I recall, the upstairs was the portion that was blasted, so a fireplace downstairs could theoretically be possible, or at least a fireplace in Bathilda Bagshots home, since she was on good terms with the Potters and had been there for Harry's first birth a few months earlier. 👀
47:46 I feel, maybe Ludo Bagman was omitted from the movie because he depicts minors gambling. But it doesn't make sense in Half-Blood Prince, when the twins open their own joke shop. In the books, Fred and George were ripped off by Bagman (fool's gold) and Harry gave the twins his Triwizard winnings(Harry's Gringott's vault was still overflowing). We also would've gotten our first look at the Nifflers. But I guess Hagrid's lessons didn't have anything to do with keeping the movie's storyline going.

1:55:04 I don’t think Mad Eye’s eye is a plot hole at all. I think it is very seemly. All of the Hallows are imperfect: the unbeatable wand has a history of being beaten, the resurrection stone doesn’t resurrect, and the infallible cloak is slightly fallible. They are really good but canonically they are not perfect.
Fred and George not seeing Pettigrew is still explainable by only marauders seeing marauders, but how the hell didnt Snape see him there when he saw both Sirius and Lupin there (the map was opened by lupin and left open so he would still see them)
I just finished watching the 8 Harry Potter movies yesterday with my sister. She has read 5 books when she was younger, but I convinced her to watch the 8 ones with me. They ALL are my 8 favorite movies, and the best one is 6. I know, I know, I'm a noob because I didn't read the books... But I think I can still enjoy a saga or join a fandom by watching the movies.
@@PremiumYT No the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth book and film, is the romantic one. It deals with Ron and Lavender Brown's relationship, how Hermoine feels about it, and all that dumb romance stuff. I know you didn't read the books but if it was adapted differently people would like it more and I'm sure you would too. The movie leaves out a ton about Voldemort's backstory and the Half-Blood Prince identity mystery. The Goblet of Fire is pretty romantically focused as well. The fifth movie, Order of the Phoenix (which is my favorite), really has nothing to do with romance outside of Harry and Cho Chang but it's not a major plot point.
McGonagall got married after working at hogwarts for more than a decade she was a professor while she was married but her husband died before 1991 so thats why she is singel in the main series.
Looking it up online, Star Wars first aired on network TV in the UK in 1982, so it's quite possible for Harry to have caught an airing on TV either at the Dursley's or while being babysat by Mrs. Figg There's a mention of Harry planning to use Dudley's new computer games while they go to the zoo before they're forced to drag Harry along, so it's not implausible to think that he just uses the TV leisurely when no one is currently using it, or at least watches with the Dursley's when he's not sent to his room or if they don't have a very good reason to shoo him away. Alternately, it's possible that during his elementary school days, Pre-Hogwarts, that the tapes were rented for the class to watch. It's also interesting to note that Harry's story shares some plot beat elements with Luke's and that the Force is not unlike the Magic abilities of the Wizarding World. It's interesting to note that a red lightsaber beam tends to be seen as Dark Side while green is generally Light Side, but Harry's magic color is red while Voldemort's color is green. When their wands connected, it's very similar to locking sabers in a way, and the idea of the energy of those killed by Voldemort can come back briefly as ghosts to help Harry isn't that much different than Force Ghosts, is it? Imagine if Harry is going through his first moment of magic at the Dursley's as a little kid and thinking "Holy crap, I'm a Jedi."
But Hermione is literally depicted as white on the covers of a few of the novels. And Rowling herself signed off on that. So yes she is canonically white
no the horcrux theory can be so disproven dudley basically telling harry he is not a waste of space and also petunia being jealous of lily was why she hated harry and magic. it kind of makes it seem like the person who thought of that theory was trying to defend the dursleys.
19:57 so because magic folks can be born to non magic parents(Hermione, Dean, etc) i dont think magic could ever be eradicated. Wizards could be extremely endangered but never defeated, whereas muggles could eventually be eradicated or assimilated.
No no no, Harry can see all the names on the muruaders map because of his dad, DNA baby. The weasleys have no connection to the map. It does bring up the question why they can see Harry or lupin but lupin was a werewolf and the magic could've not affected Harry with the invisability from the map like his father had. And that probably another reason why lupin was so shocked that Harry saw him on the map
Amazing video I love it - one thing tho: I don't think Dumbledore possessed all three of the deathly Hallows at one point. While Harry was at the Dursleys before Hogwarts, yes he had the Wand and the Cloak, but in Harry's first year he gave it to him (or gave up possession of it) as a Christmas present - making him only the owner of the Elder Wand. Then before or during Harry's 5th/6th year (HBP) he gets possession of the ring which is when he gets the curse and eventually Snape kills him. So I would argue that Dumbledore didn't have possession/ownership of all three of the Deathly Hallows at the same time, which is why Harry is per theory immortal and he is not, because Harry had all three of them owned at the same time (even unknowingly). Hopefully that made sense haha
Sorry I don't quite understand the question... if you mean Dumbledore then as I said, no because he didn't have the cloak when he got the stone, but he didn't have the stone when he had the cloak.@@sunnevacarat
Just because something isn't mentioned, doesn't mean it wasn't a thing. I'm sure every Wizarding School has it's own Quidditch League. It would have made sense for Rowling to mention it, particularly with how in depth Quidditch Through the Ages is, but it's not a huge deal that she didn't. I imagine there are also independent Quidditch learning camps and clubs across every country too, so those who didn't go to their school or chose not to play there can still do so if they want to.
That point about the ministry being a dictatorship made me crack a smile. It's always interesting seeing the American perspective in stuff sometimes, that belief in "checks and balances" that led straight to people like Trump...
The muggles can't beat the wizards in a war, we need more than guns for wars, we need organization and chain of command, and wizards can take control of the whole political and military muggle apparatus with the imperius curse without the muggles knowing
Harry saw Peter on the map before lupin got it from him so that’s not 100% accurate it could have a charm t where any one other that the marauders could only see themselves on the map and Harry being James’s son makes it to where he can see them too
In terms of spells that aren't Unforgivables but probably should be, I'd argue the Confundus charm! Due to the fact it can be used as a memory altering spell, and sometimes to great lengths if the caster is competent enough/concentrates, it could lead to really serious issues. One could argue it's almost a less severe form of the Imperius curse
Based on the clothes and names of most students (notice that kids from other countrys is common at Durmstrang, as Krum who is from Bulgaria) I should guess Durmstrang is located in Sibiria. Its an extremely cold (even for being located in taiga) and isolated part of Russia. Also the last part their argues for it to be a good place for Durmstrangs location. Sibiria also have sea, with is handy with their ship. Bulgaria is only close to a lake.
@@RED-my9hl Eh… I live in Sweden and the only argument I can find is ”northern Europe” and ”cold”… with is quite vaige arguments. You find very few Poliakoffs, Karkaroffs or Vulchanovas here. You are probably more succesful with that in northern russia. You can argument that Durmstrang takes in Russians even if the school is located in Sweden or Norway but I have never seen och read a Scandinavian name connected to Durmstrang.
Okay. A married coupleat the school not being an ootion makes sense. But you forgot something. The castle is close to a village. Hogsmead. And villiafes would have inns, and rentals, with a sxhool there. Commencements need not only a venue, but at schools like Hogwarts, Boarding Schools, travel is a requirment if they want to attend. No reson a married couple couldn't visit each other on school trips, PTO, or vacations. Travel in that world is easy, so getting to work isn't a deal breaker. Been there. Not easy, but a strong relationship survives it. Wife and I are at 22 years, 17 of it married. Parents made it 40, 32 married. Mom passed the year we became a couple, her and her daughter moving in to my house. Our jobs spmetines required travel. Nut a little is a Lot, when it's both jobs, as few match up. Daughter was close to both of us, but single parenting ain't easy. But we made it. Opened our shop on mom's birthday, in 03. Not rich, but not hurting, and we both are in an industry we are passionate about. We don't work. We fet to do what we love, with family, and make a living. Because of my parents. Dad used every weekend pass to srice 8 hours home, to see everyone. Including mom and her family. Then drive back Sunday night to report at 0700 Monday. Sets a hihg standard.
Tecnically can Harry have been a natural parsel tounger by heritage. Both Potters and Gaunts is related to Slytherin. So Potters maybe know parseltoung to but never braged about it? James was capable to hide for Dumbledore that he was a animagus during his entire life.

I know, I know, I'm a noob because I didn't read the books... But I think I can still enjoy a saga or join a fandom by watching the movies.
6 is a good film, but horribly written, so awkward and unnecessarily romantic
Really? Out of all the movies in the world the Harry Potter ones are ur fav? R u 13?
@@SparkzUK. the romantic one is the fifth movie

Figg
There's a mention of Harry planning to use Dudley's new computer games while they go to the zoo before they're forced to drag Harry along, so it's not implausible to think that he just uses the TV leisurely when no one is currently using it, or at least watches with the Dursley's when he's not sent to his room or if they don't have a very good reason to shoo him away.
So yes she is canonically white
also says somewhere in book 4 she was pale
no the horcrux theory can be so disproven dudley basically telling harry he is not a waste of space and also petunia being jealous of lily was why she hated harry and magic. it kind of makes it seem like the person who thought of that theory was trying to defend the dursleys.
2:21:15 I thought it was pronounced “Bog-gart”, not “Bo-gart”, like “Humphrey *Bogart*”
Sectumsempra is Latin for “Imma fuck you up”.
Well wouldn’t he have had them all before he come to school?
The reason the curses are unforgivable is because there is no counter curse for them. Only in fantastic beasts…
Harry saw Peter on the map before lupin got it from him so that’s not 100% accurate it could have a charm t where any one other that the marauders could only see themselves on the map and Harry being James’s son makes it to where he can see them too
25:13 moan is killing me 😂😂😂

In terms of spells that aren't Unforgivables but probably should be, I'd argue the Confundus charm! Due to the fact it can be used as a memory altering spell, and sometimes to great lengths if the caster is competent enough/concentrates, it could lead to really serious issues. One could argue it's almost a less severe form of the Imperius curse
Sooo are you against whitewashing? I mean you're okay with Hermione getting blackwashed. You don't wanna look like a hypocrite do you?

Based on the clothes and names of most students (notice that kids from other countrys is common at Durmstrang, as Krum who is from Bulgaria) I should guess Durmstrang is located in Sibiria. Its an extremely cold (even for being located in taiga) and isolated part of Russia. Also the last part their argues for it to be a good place for Durmstrangs location. Sibiria also have sea, with is handy with their ship. Bulgaria is only close to a lake.
its in norway or sweden
