I usually never cry especially for humans. But whenever I hear someone loosing a pet, it just reminds me of my dog who was my bestfriend. I couldn't bear to lose him due to his cancer at 7 so I ran outside, stole a bike without thinking and just started rolling after the truck leading him at the vet to be put to sleep. I almost broke my ankle that day from how I tripped on the bike because of how fast I was running. When I ran into the vet despite my leg dripping blood, I got stopped by the lady at the entrance and a few persons waiting. I was bawling and tried to fight to save my dog but I was just 10. Now I'm 15, I still have physical scars from my fall but what hurts the most is the scar left in my heart from the loss. I know I'm very late but I couldn't watch the video the year you published it, cause I didnt wanted to hear my favorite artist cry. But now I'm writing this and I hope almost 2 years after you feel better. I hope nothing bad happens to any of your cats now.

I just recently lost my 2 kittens. They went into the woods and never came back.. my parents and I thought they were ready to be in the woods because we wanted them to become outdoor cats. We had them for about a year. They went missing just 2 days apart. After that I kept feeding their food bowls hoping they would come back but they never did… Even to this day it’s hard to think about… We speculated that coyotes killed my cats. I just hope my dad can shoot some….

my cat has recently gone missing, i miss her too i’ve had my cat for around 2-3 years, there is someone who lives down the road who kills cats and i think they got bella(my cat) i’m still sad but i’m never forgetting her, like they say, she is never gone if she’s never forgotten.

As someone who’s been through surprisingly amount of pet loss, I’m truly sorry about what happened. I have chickens and before we made a coop for them, they ate the dangling string on my curtain and this more than likely lead to their death. Losing a pet is something no one should go through. We have a deep bond with them and having that taken away is incredibly painful. I wish you the best and the same for Mochi.
You tried to help and it’s ok, I hope you’re doing well despite the loss and I hope Mochi is doing well in whatever afterlife she is in. Perhaps being a lil sneak and stealing your lost belongings. Losing a ‘pet’ is understandably hard. Pet is in apostrophes because it feels more like friend, and losing friends, the two or four legged kind, both hurt. I hope you’re doing well, and too Mochi, wherever one goes.
This may seem like such a “I’m comforting a little kid who lost a pet” but I fr think this is true, Mochi’s always gonna be right next to you, watching over you, even if she’s not alive. I am also crying my eyes out and I've experienced something kinda like this i had a hamster her name was walnut and I had a hole in my floor and I went to the fair with my family and when I came back she was gone. She wasn't in the house.. we heard noises from the wall and I knew it was her after months and months of trying to get her it never worked a year later the apartment started to smell a bit and I knew it was walnut .. she was gone. I still think to this day that she escaped out to the streets and a cat ate her (a stray) i really miss walnut alot and wish to see her but now I got 2 guinea pigs to cheer me up! I still miss her tho..

This bought tears to my eyes. I lost my 20+ yr old cat last November. He would barely move, slept all day. A vet came over one day to look at him while i was at school, I was scared all day, i though i would come home and he would be fine. When i did come home from school, i saw my dad in my window and ran to my house. I asked if he was okay and he shook his head. It felt like i'd lost everything, My house felt empty without him, even now, i'm still grieving for him. We had another cat that we adopted a week before, she helped heal the pain. Always remember that they'll look out for us as we looked after them when they where with us. The will be our guardian angels and guide us through the grief.

I started crying when I saw the thumbnail, i thought "No, this can't be true!" I know how it feels to lose a pet, it is more than heartbreaking, it crushes you and leaves unsure of what to do. I'm so sorry Sona. Loosing a family member whether they have fur, feathers, scales or skin is really hard. I've personally lost very close members of my family back in 2019 and I still haven't gotten over it and I dont think I ever will. Though my dog never went through that i still miss her not to long ago she ran away and the last time i got to her was at my brothers birthday party and she got in trouble for fighting with another dog (she didn't stay at my house at the time so i only got to see her when i went over to my brothers house) and after the party was over i left not realizing it would be the last time i saw and a few days later i was told that she ran away and that no one could find her.Everyone please keep watch over your pets and love them no matter how many things they break and no matter how much they make you want to pull your hair out i love and miss you Asha.

It’s extremely hard to lose a pet. I’ve lost 3 cats in my lifetime, the latest hit me the hardest. My first pet I lost I was way too young to remember anything about it. The second I remember I didn’t really like him because he attacked me, but the thing that made me cry about losing that cat is how sad my dad was. My dad was sobbing and that made me cry. The latest one only died last year, she died around summer/fall and I’ve lived with her my entire life, and it hit me so hard when she died. My dad noticed she was getting really fat, though she was barely eating, so after about 2 weeks he took her into the vet, and that same day, she had to be euthanized. She had heart failure and I cried so hard when she died. We made sure to give her so much love before she passed. My friends were extremely sad that she died too. I’m pretty sure one started crying too. I called my friends, but I could barely talk without my voice shaking and/or breaking. (Okay the fact I’m almost crying while writing this though 😭). I’ve gone through the same grief as you, and I believe that she knew you loved her so much. I hope you can recover from this loss and remember she loved you just as much as you loved her. ❤

They went into the woods and never came back.. my parents and I thought they were ready to be in the woods because we wanted them to become outdoor cats. We had them for about a year. They went missing just 2 days apart. After that I kept feeding their food bowls hoping they would come back but they never did…
Even to this day it’s hard to think about…

As someone who’s been through surprisingly amount of pet loss, I’m truly sorry about what happened. I have chickens and before we made a coop for them, they ate the dangling string on my curtain and this more than likely lead to their death.
Losing a pet is something no one should go through. We have a deep bond with them and having that taken away is incredibly painful. I wish you the best and the same for Mochi.

This may seem like such a “I’m comforting a little kid who lost a pet” but I fr think this is true, Mochi’s always gonna be right next to you, watching over you, even if she’s not alive. She loves you, and she knows you love her. She’s a great cat, and she was lucky to be taken care of by you. I hope you recover well, and she’ll always stay in your heart :)

I am also crying my eyes out and I've experienced something kinda like this i had a hamster her name was walnut and I had a hole in my floor and I went to the fair with my family and when I came back she was gone. She wasn't in the house.. we heard noises from the wall and I knew it was her after months and months of trying to get her it never worked a year later the apartment started to smell a bit and I knew it was walnut .. she was gone. I still think to this day that she escaped out to the streets and a cat ate her (a stray) i really miss walnut alot and wish to see her but now I got 2 guinea pigs to cheer me up! I still miss her tho..

I lost my 20+ yr old cat last November. He would barely move, slept all day. A vet came over one day to look at him while i was at school, I was scared all day, i though i would come home and he would be fine. When i did come home from school, i saw my dad in my window and ran to my house. I asked if he was okay and he shook his head. It felt like i'd lost everything, My house felt empty without him, even now, i'm still grieving for him. We had another cat that we adopted a week before, she helped heal the pain.
Always remember that they'll look out for us as we looked after them when they where with us. The will be our guardian angels and guide us through the grief.

I know how it feels to lose a pet, it is more than heartbreaking, it crushes you and leaves unsure of what to do. I watched this video holding my cat and wanted to do nothing but let the tears roll thinking what if but I can't not for my cat. I love her with all my heart, and I shouldn't dwell on things.
Basically, what I'm getting at is, yes it won't ever be the same but just know that Mochi is always with you in spirit! We are all here for you in this tough time!

I'm so sorry Sona. Loosing a family member whether they have fur, feathers, scales or skin is really hard. I've personally lost very close members of my family back in 2019 and I still haven't gotten over it and I dont think I ever will. Though my dog never went through that i still miss her not to long ago she ran away and the last time i got to her was at my brothers birthday party and she got in trouble for fighting with another dog (she didn't stay at my house at the time so i only got to see her when i went over to my brothers house) and after the party was over i left not realizing it would be the last time i saw and a few days later i was told that she ran away and that no one could find her.Everyone please keep watch over your pets and love them no matter how many things they break and no matter how much they make you want to pull your hair out i love and miss you Asha.

It’s extremely hard to lose a pet. I’ve lost 3 cats in my lifetime, the latest hit me the hardest. My first pet I lost I was way too young to remember anything about it. The second I remember I didn’t really like him because he attacked me, but the thing that made me cry about losing that cat is how sad my dad was. My dad was sobbing and that made me cry. The latest one only died last year, she died around summer/fall and I’ve lived with her my entire life, and it hit me so hard when she died. My dad noticed she was getting really fat, though she was barely eating, so after about 2 weeks he took her into the vet, and that same day, she had to be euthanized. She had heart failure and I cried so hard when she died. We made sure to give her so much love before she passed. My friends were extremely sad that she died too. I’m pretty sure one started crying too. I called my friends, but I could barely talk without my voice shaking and/or breaking. (Okay the fact I’m almost crying while writing this though 😭). I’ve gone through the same grief as you, and I believe that she knew you loved her so much. I hope you can recover from this loss and remember she loved you just as much as you loved her. ❤
