Anyone complaining about the quality of the music is a jerk. He's playing "I've Never Been In Love Before" and doing a great job improvising. Having said that - background music is distracting in an installation video.
I just purchased two used Harmar SL600 chair lifts ..... when the person took them off the stairs the carriage was still attached to one of the tracks..... I cannot understand how to get the carriage off the track. It needs to come off in order to reinstall in my home.... any ideas as to how it can be removed (taken off) the track?
@@mcrick8931 Yeah, I FINALLY understood how this thing works.... plus I did not know that the batteries were dead! After replacing the batteries I was able to remove the chairs from the tracks. I have installed both of them and they work beautifully but still have one question/concern.... I understand that in order for the batteries to remain charged I must park the chair while it is resting on those "charging strips" on the sides of the tracks. One fellow told me that the carriage should always remain in the on position in order for the charge to be maintained. Well, on one of my chairs, after parking it on the strips, leaving the carriage switch in the on position everything is fine. At first the LED indicator on the charger kinda changed colors for awhile then stopped..... on the second chair after parking the carriage and leaving the switch on in about a minute I would get the alarm beep letting me know that the carriage power switch was still in the on position. What could be the problem with that?

How do you unmount a stair lift
How do you replace a stair carpet once a stair lift has been installed ?
Seriously? Did you figure it out yet? Watch this video series in reverse. Replace carpet. Reinstall stair lift. Duh.

Appreciated the video and info but the music could be dumped.
Agree 👌
same dude that played for Mr. Rogers neighbohood (God rest his soul)...
seems that double-rail configuration should be more reliable than single-rail versions.

Good info, well-presented...BUT...please kill that damn music!!!!!!!!!
Could anybody tell me if there is a type of stair lift that doesn’t drill into the wall or steps or need to cause any damage to any other surface?
Did you find one because I’m interested to see how it would secure In place?
@@IronMan-yg9wc no unfortunately, I’ve not really found anything.
Has anyone had to install a battery in chair?

Music is horrible!
I bought one second hand and no one will install it for me
Nice video but why do people choose such annoying background music!!!
