So like when I say the trunk is stuck. Like its jammed, completely won't open, key fob/ key itself, trunk release in the car. STUCK, how to fix?

I have an issue with my trunk on 08 e63. The trunk does open automatically, but recently the trunk wont open all the way the first time, only half way, until I press the key button again. What could be the issue?
Hi anyone have idea how to open the trunk on W211 E240 2006?My key got locked inside the trunk and the battery already dead.Tried to jump start using the jump start point,and yes other electrical parts working but not the trunk.The trunk button on driver's door and trunk latch wont open.almost give up to figure out how to open the trunk.hmmm.anyone can help to solve this issue?

This probably won't help you as it's 8 months since your question, but the noise is the small motor in the trunk lock mechanism. The motor turns but something in the latch is worn out and won't release. Solution is to replace the trunk lock. I just experienced this with a 2005 E320 sedan. Pelican Parts approx $130 for genuine Mercedes part.

Okay guys today I was at the wrecking yard and came across a w220 s55 amg with its full quad exhaust still intact. They want FORTY BUCKS for the full system! I'm picking it up tomorrow to either sale or......put it on my 2002 W203 c320? Lol My question is, is it possible to put it on the c320? Obviously I'll need to modify the spare tire well, I don't use it because it didn't have a spare when I bought it and also use some exhaust adapters to meet the front section with the back section...but is it possible to basically "plug and play" ? The have a similar body style except for the front end. Also can I mount the side skirts as well as the rear bumper? Thank you so much for your advice in advance!!
Hi! My 2008 Mercedes W211 trunk cannot close completely, there is nearly 1 cm gap after closing. Luckily, there is no leakage. It is motor driven. Do you know how to fix it? Thanks!

I did this to open my trunk. Now my car is locked and will not unlock with the fob or the key. What do I do? I still have the trunk lid open. Should I close it and then try to unlock car with the Fob? Hard key will not turn in drivers door lock

I did it to day hike a booster pack to the wires under passenger foot well my battery was unhooked and it worked there is a video on utube showing how to do it
2002 w211, didnt work changing the fuse or maybe its another fuse????I have total blackout in the back,trunk doesnt open electronacally,third brake light doesnt turn on,license lights wont turn on.
I found out in another video that actually might be a wire problem too.Wires going along the arms of the trunk tend to brake becouse they get old.

The idiot engineers at Mercedes put the fuse for the trunk IN THE TRUNK. So, I can’t open the trunk to replace the blown fuse that controls the circuit that opens the trunk. And I can’t enter the trunk via the back seats because the controls that lower the back seats are also IN THE TRUNK. They went out of their way to design it so it’s nearly impossible to repair a trunk that wont open. And of course, they saved 50 cents on the price of the car that cost me $145,000 (2021 AMG E63s) by eliminating the mechanical lock - which would have allowed me to use my key to manually unlock the trunk so that I could find out what’s wrong and fix it - I.e. replace a fuse, or the solenoid, or broken wire, etc. Let me know if you have any ideas please…on how to gain entry into the trunk.
Wow, I wanted to suggest mechanical key, but you had it removed as an option? Damn, sounds tough, how did you get to open it in the end?
@@Chrispage2 it turns out the center section/console will fold down from inside the car. the rt and left seats only fold down from inside the trunk. so i was able to look through the center section and fine the emergency release button ( for when you are trapped in the trunk :) ) and that popped the trunk open. i didnt option out of the mechanical key for the trunk lid - i just think they stopped making them to save money. just like removing the oil dip stick - so you can no longer check your own oil - you have to rely on the computer to tell you the status.
But what if your trunk won't open electronically and you accidentally locked the metal key in the trunk? ( had the key and fob separated)

@@SavvasPe second key was in the bag that was in the trunk lol had to go to MB to have a new key made because our E320 didn't have the folding seats option (which really should've been standard)
I have same issue now but will use the 2nd key when I travel back home
