ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
I’m fairly certain that the color of Thors right eye is intentionally a different color due to it being a prosthetic. Could be wrong though, I don’t really remember the color in the movie.

Head sculpts tend to look bad for SHF Marvel figures. In contrast, face sculpt on SHF Star Wars figures are a totally different story.
SH Fig is more Natalie Portman accurate to me. The ML face is too wide, her cheek bones and face structure is slimmer.
I think what’s throwing off the likeness on the unmasked Jane Foster head sculpt is her face looks too pale or sickly, like her eyes look too lifeless or she’s got a bit of a droopy expression, when in fact she is supposed to be rejuvenated as Thor
The Figuarts Jane head looks more accurate to Natalie Portman's face. The Marvel Legends face looks like a cube and doesn't resemble Jane at all. If the Figuarts head had the brighter colors of the Marvel Legends head than it would look good
SH Natalie looks very good to me :O. Legends looks familiar but no as Natalie as I hoped. The Back series one has a god likeness too. Both Thors look movie accurate ,current Chris and Natalie.Loved the film and I think I'm going to like these.

I've been hesitant to get the Legends Mighty Thor cause she's stupidly tall, I hate Hasbro makes MCU asgardians so freaking tall, the actors are not that tall 🤣 but was hesitant to get the figuarts cause she might be too short to scale with my (mainly Marvel Legends) MCU shelf... Thanks to this review I made up my mind of which one to get.

In the film both his eyes are blue. I assume Thor got his other eye corrected to match.

About Jane Foster: I realy like the figure, but i think SHF dont catch it with the unhelmet head sculpt, i like the articulations and the paint detail are perfect 👌
About the Thor figure: I hate the face-off change, its like the captain america Age Of Ultron figure, with some time, it will be a pain in the ***ss, and the articulations and paint detail are so great!
But I think its some like "meh", too... I think I'll wait for the price goes a little low 😅

At first I thought there was something wrong with the yellowed out image but turns out it was the background?

Nah, depends on the figure you get. I got the Buzz Lightyear figuarts and this thing is solid as a rock. One of the best figs of the year.

Is it me or was 2020-2021 the peek of figure quality idk feel like the big major companies are getting to comfortable or something still a big fan though
The Mighty Thor might be my most disappointing figure of the year. The cape constantly popping out is super annoying and the lower body articulation is really limited. Wish they would have done it similar to Thor's where it's all separate pieces. Only thing saving it is the different effects pieces.
Yeah the marvel legends for one is the better deal
Funny because my Mighty Thor doesn't have that problem but the face on my Thor Odinson does keep falling off had to glue it down.

I ain’t going to lie in the looks department I overall like the Marvel Legends more. The silver and gold paint looks great but everything jaw looks bad in my opinion.

It's amazing how just a few years ago, imports like SHF were the gold standard for face likeness for 1:12 figures.. Now, Hasbro's photoreal tech usually blows the competition out of the water, especially when you factor in the price. Kudos, Hasbro ML team!

I was very excited for these figures...
And then I saw the movie.
The crapfest that was Eternals followed by Multiverse of Madness followed up by Thor 4 kind of ruined the MCU for me and I'm probably going to sell my entire MCU collection. All the warm and fuzzy feelings from Phases 1-4 are pretty much gone. Why on earth would I want a Wanda figure after what they did to her character? And if there's no Wanda, why would I have Vision? And if I don't have a complete Avengers team, why would I collect any of them? It still bothers me that they never released a good armored Loki figure, I assumed they would do something like that in the 10th anniversary sets.
I have pretty much every MCU figure, and it just makes me feel bad looking at them now. I canceled all my preorders and I'll just buy a couple figures I like here and there. It's probably what I should have done in the first place instead of getting the entire cast of every movie represented in plastic form.
I'm sorry those movies ruined the MCU for you. Just remember those are only 3 bad films (depends on who you ask) out of nearly 30 mainly good movies. I think Marvel can redeem itself
