about your bobbin situation: someone in the Camp Wooligan group gave the tip to use cardboard TP-rolls or paper towel rolls as storage bobbins and it has been really helping me to clear bobbins when I need to!
There are no real Tour de Fleece rules...I use it as motivation to spin every day, no matter what. Other spinners make other plans...we just all spin \(^-^)/

thanks! I use tp rolls to take things off my drop spindles, but idk why I never thought about taking things off my bobbins as well 😅
You could totally chain ply to keep the gradient ❤❤❤
I'm not very experience with chain plying, but I need to give it some more practice!
I want that bag!!
it's so good, right???

oh good, that's what I was hoping (and planning to do even if there were rules haha)
I’ve noticed that Southdown is an extremely textured and short fiber. It spins the best longdraw.❤
I didn't have success this time around, but I'm definitely open to trying it again at some point!
There are no rules or even guidelines. It is completely self driven and whatever you want it to be. Enjoy.
good! that's my plan!
