    Runkeeper! You can see your trajectory; includes more than one sport such as running, hiking, biking; can tell you the pace after X kms or Y minutes... Simply great!

    I like the idea of changing the beat of music to your candence, main reason why I don't run with music is that when the beat is different to my candence I find it super irritating and makes feel awkward as I always want to run to the beat while body is not capable of that pace due to fatigue, so having heard this app function I might give running with music a try again, thanks for the info. Love the channel, one of the few I have notifications activated for 😁😎

    Suprised no one has made a program you can enter pace, weekly milage and then weekly plan with all your selected run types (Long run, intervals, tempo) Then add another layer to make it better and increase milage by 10% built in. WHY HAS NO ONE DONE THIS ?

      Or why does Strava not have the possibility to set a goal for an individual run, like a distance goal? It is the most basic feature you can imagine.
      Endomondo has it, but that app will stop. Unfortunately :(.

    Each app gives a differnet calculation, Nike Run Club or Strava give a different calculation of the distance run. Why is that? Explain on this....

    What is the difference between pace and speed? He keeps saying both in the same sentence but they are the same thing.

    • @twisto5995
      @twisto5995 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Speed is how fast a person is currently going, and pace is how fast you can consistently travel for the whole duration of your run.

  • @LampeProductions_nl

    Strava costs 120 euros per year. This is ridiculous! You can buy games that entire teams have spent many hours creating. And then you can easily buy that game for 60 euros and use it for hours over years. It's just outrageous that a simple tracking app costs 120 euros per year.

  • @zyghom

    for casual runner the app will not be of any help
    for advanced: why would he need one (and the phone while running) when for sure he has a watch...
    just saying ;-)

    • @user-uq1fq6gs3i
      @user-uq1fq6gs3i 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well I am advanced and use my watch but I use an app to upload it, otherwise what’s the point?

    • @zyghom
      @zyghom 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-uq1fq6gs3i I knew my point was not clear: I meant: you don't need any of these apps and phone WHILE running - so all the super features described on this video are not available when you use watch. The post run features - I fully agree ;-) But then I would not call these apps: running "workout and planning apps". OK, maybe I am not able to say what is in my head today ;-)

    • @TM-ng2bz

      As a beginner I absolutely need an app. The app is what keeps me motivated to keep going out for a run.

    • @zyghom
      @zyghom 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TM-ng2bz yes, same here, but you don't use app while running - rather after run. During run you need some info like pace, HR, time, distance etc. - these fields you see on watch - not on the phone when running - right?

    • @TM-ng2bz
      @TM-ng2bz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zyghom No. I don't own a sports watch (and won't have one for a long time, since they often cost as much as a phone). My phone is what tells me intervals for example and that I can use to check how it's going. Also if I run alone I would use it to listen to music, podcasts etc. anyway. (It is also a safety measure to have it with you)

    GTN reeeealy needs to buy all of their presenters decent iPhone cases. Heather's screen is always a hot mess, and now this. You'd think elite athletes would have sharper reflexes and better hand/eye coordination, but their phones look like they have drinking problems and/or were just dumped by text message.
