"I didn't say Terry had a biased opinion, I said he had an opinion on the bias!" 🙂 Terry, you've pointed out before about watching for mistakes in documentation and schematics, in particular polarity of capacitors. Thank you for doing that, it's such an important part of troubleshooting and repair.
Commander Terry at the helm taking us to visit the red planet Lyticap. Nice catch on the schematic error. Great restore and custom mike and output upgrade.
Sir I can't tell you how cool what you do is. I hope to get an old tube amp just for home use this solid state I have is crap.....comparitvly speaking! I went to a trade school so I understand the VALUE you are bringing, & these amp videos to the masses Gangster Cheers Doug 😎 Canada
Never heard of the company which made it, but that is a really stylish and nicely laid out little amp. Love the Spartan yet slightly Art Deco graphics.
Great intro D-Lab. Cool little amp. I saw in one of your replies that it belongs to a harmonica player. I can definitely see that amp being ideal for blues harp through a mic.
Hi Terry...In a previous video you spoke about your younger days and how you started by learning/studying from a phamflet that came with a Heithkit preamp... Excuse my naivety but that's where I am on my journey. How can I find that resource? Thank you for your time Kenneth
@@d-labelectronics thank you for the reply...love your new shop staring at a Allied Knight(Terry Kath) amp no tools no equipment..... KN 3235C I may have to send it to you
Jest like a 1950s B-Movie we can see the strings holding up the space ship. Joking aside I like your videos and humorous interludes Terry PS more amateurish s..t

Yep, that one caught me by surprise.

Keeping the old cool gear running….great job Terry.
Yeah, nice job Terry..Cool little amp eh..! Never heard of that make myself, but it's great to see it's still entertaining everyone..Ed..uk..😎
Terry,
The 6-pin connector for the speaker is readily available from Amplified Parts. It is the same 6 pin plug used for Leslie speakers
Looks like a 6pin tube socket, in which case you can just find any dead-tube that will plug into it and harvest its base to get a plug.
Came here to say the same thing. Very common connector for Leslie speakers and Hammond cabinets.

Thanks again for the upload Terry

Excellent Job Terry
Enjoyed the schematic content - Thanks
On the speaker 6 pin plug- I have made up many of them from the bases of the old large pin tubes I had saved that were bad.
4:32 Hi Mr. Looper.
Sorry for the PBS flashback.
Nice fix. Thanks for sharing.
Great segment. ❤
Thanks! D-Lab🚀
It's interesting that it's a single ended amp with fixed bias.
Nice repair Terry 👌
That speaker socket is a ux 6 pin socket aka pre octal.
Nice intru
Great little amp Terry. Do you have to modify the input for guitar?
This one belongs to a Harp player, run as is

There is a Heathkit website that has manuals you can review. Focus on the basic kits they began with

Standard service stuff.......... replace anything that's NOT stock value, and the components that fail with age. Then the world is a happy place.
Hit it with a tubescreamer and I bet it would sound insane.

Yes Sir, That was the effect I was after. Glad you like!
