Studio C is extremely under-rated. These people work tirelessly to make these sketches come to life. Their sketches are proof that not everything needs to be perfect to be a masterpiece, every now and then the actors break character and it all feels adorable. I miss Matt and his direction of the sketches but yea he is off to build something much much greater, I wish success comes to both Studio C and JK studio, I also hope whatever big Matt is planning turns out great... and even if it does not, Studio C and JK Studio will always be his home :)
Oh we all know the reason why it was effective. Our parents often had a ultimate punishment we didn’t dare mess with. For example when I disobeyed them as much as my small frame could I watched with fear at the wrath my moms voice had when she scream with fury that left my ears ringing and my body shivering. Or the storm my father showed when would slam things in anger out of worry of hitting someone would shake the whole house which to my small mind made it feel like heaven and earth. Worst is when you have moved past the issue and whether you’ve seen the error of your ways or not, they would still be mad and punish you for days to come. All of this led to you fearing disobeying them again for the days to come and unknowingly for the for seeable future.
Kids are just so annoying. I realized I used to be annoying and selfish when I was much younger, but those days are gone. My younger nephews and nieces which I have to babysit are basically a reminder of my past, a reflection of my younger self.
What's worse, being grounded on your birthday or having to hug your worst enemy? 😬
