- Opening a Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Booster Box! When I saw that the new set was coming out for Gen 9, I just HAD to get some cards. I loved these games so much, and also I really appreciated all the enthusiasm from my first pokemon card video! So yeah, I went all out haha.

The pull rates in the Scarlet & Violet set are INSANE!
Yeah they changed to silver borders after SWSH finished. It was a pretty big thing lol but I'm really happy with these new pull rates. Makes collecting a lot easier

Nice opening! Its great to see you excited about scarlet and violet. I didn't like the new cards at first but i'm starting to warm up to them. Your collection is coming alone nicely and you should be proud of yourself.

Klefki was kinda hidden in the game I remember hunting it for the 100% pokedex which this gen was the first time I completed that but I remember distinctively klefki was super hidden and only came out at night so was a bit of a task to get. Great pulls though that's awesome you pulled a gold card and honestly judging by the market in time you'll probably pull more of a profit it's just product is being open so rapidly and everyone is trying to sell so prices are continuing to drop but they'll go back up and normalize after awhile. I'm sure by the end of the booster box you'll definitely get more than what you paid in cards for sure you got this!!!

I have the Maushold Trainer Gallery Holo or Full Art whatever its called in this set from Paldea Evolved and Clavell Full Art Trainer like your Penny you pulled which is a very rare and great card to collect. ✌🏻 Also pulled Chien-Pao Ex and Wo-Chien Ex.

It's so hard not to open them all up at once. I also keep a spreadsheet on my rare cards to keep track of what I spent vs. value. It's quite enjoyable. Keep it up, hope you get em all!
That sounds like a quick way to misery 😂 can’t imagine the bottom line of that spreadsheet is profitable
@@TedBarton91 On the contrary, imo it's quite responsible to keep track. I treat my collection as an asset and it's good to know what you bought it for (cost basis). Depends on short term vs. long term. If you continue to collect and have hundreds and thousands of cards of value, good to know what you have. I treat this asset like my stock portfolio. 👍

I love the full art Tera Gyardos and the Miriam Special Illustration Rare. Would also love to get the Hyper rare energy cards. The grey borders are new, I really like them personally but the community seems to be split. I started collecting again after 20 years just a couple months ago. Love how excited you get with all the art!

keep in mind that since the set is fresh the prices may climb for a bit but usually will drop and stabilize after a few weeks. also with the release of new sets sometimes it'll spike up the prices of cards from previous sets for example Regieleki VMAX from SIT was about a $2-6 card back in Jan but since the pre-release of SV 2wks ago till now its value has spiked up to $20/card just yesterday it was $10 and 2hrs ago it was $18. anywaysss great pulls i hope the second half of your box was just as awesome! happy collecting! 😊
@@Stellas.Collection yea I've only noticed this as I've transitioned from being a collector to a player. The Miraidon ex in SV makes Regieleki VMAX super playable so it's value went up. If you have no intentions to use your code cards I'd gladly take them off your hands 🤓
Ohhh if you can get your hands on something from the Pokémon GO set I think you'd have a lot of fun if you pulled a Ditto or maybe just watch a TH-cam reel of the Ditto from PGO. Lol

I dont really have any favorites in the new gen ... besides the little fire charcoal guy... the starters 1st stage look great but thats it ... the only cards I like are houndour and houndoom sucks they don't have a illustration rare

Pokémon is better to get good hits rate because the terrible sns era are not fun a all I love getting hit and enjoying the pulls to me I rather put my money where I actually get my money worth having fun getting hits not get disappointed every time it all comes down to what’s valuable to you
