About:
Red, White & Royal Blue is a 2023 American romantic comedy film directed by Matthew Lopez in his feature film directorial debut, from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Ted Malawer. Based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston, the film is about a love affair between the son of the president of the United States and a British prince, played by Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine respectively. Clifton Collins Jr., Sarah Shahi, Rachel Hilson, Stephen Fry, and Uma Thurman appear in supporting roles.
In 2019, Amazon Studios announced the film's development with Greg Berlanti as a producer. Lopez was announced as director and co-writer with Malawer in 2021. Casting announcements began in June 2022 with Zakhar Perez, Galitzine and Thurman announced to play their respective roles. The majority of the remaining cast was announced the following month. Filming took place in England between June and August 2022. Red, White & Royal Blue premiered at the BFI IMAX in London on July 22, 2023, and was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 11.

Just happy the sequel is going to be made. There will be a lot of speculation appearing on the internet. I will ignore that and watch for the announced date it will be shown.

I agree, but the special edition book gave us Prince Henry's "point of view "on Alex's relationship after his mom won the election for the 2nd term. Move together to a brownstone in New York, Henry learns to grocery shop and cook. Henry gave up his Royal title and later moved to Texas and brought a house with Alex.
Posablely the Director will use Prince Henry's POV in the squeal because he is a fan of the book. Well, see.

Oh please, my mother who is a hard cord Bible thumper love Red White and Royal Blue. During the hot sex scene my mom mentioned that Prince Henry is the girl in the relationship. I didn't have the heart to correct her about gay sex. "At least they used condoms"she says.
