I really gotta give the devs props for this. They really made a very very unique character for once in 8 years. I’ve been playing since the beta and let me say that I never felt the chills for a new character releasing like I feel for this one. Yes I know people are complaining about the 95 damage. But let me just say this one thing about it. In my opinion 95 yes is like half of your health. But it really will be hard to get when playing sohei. You can only throw a second light after a light, you can only throw a second heavy after a heavy. So people will be expecting every second attack you throw since you can do light heavies or heavy lights. You are limited to that. So I think them adding the guard break soul filling option was a smart choice, now it makes people focus more on not getting guard broken with this character, just like when playing against a peacekeeper since all she needs is 2 guard breaks and she’ll drain almost all of your health. It’s really not much different when you truly think about it. Versing this character won’t be as hard as it seems. The developers only make it look like it’ll be hard because they are purposely letting themselves get free hits to demonstrate his soul collecting ability. But if you are playing against someone who isn’t a bot, it won’t be easy collecting souls unless you find someone who can’t counter a guardbreak, and for how little the damage on his heavies are for a heavy or hybrid character, 95 damage really isn’t that much when you really think about it. And it’s not interruptible so you probably can’t even pull it off when being ganked unless you are in revenge. And let’s be fr, revenge is not that great right now, so we really do need a high damage character right now to be a crutch to revenge.
Love this heroes character design. Might get me to play this game again. Photo mode might get me to make vids again to 😋. Overall, this update is pretty sick. Excited for it.
I'm glad they made a hero that builds up to a big attack without just you having to be out of stamina and being a stamina bully. this is gonna get me back into the game here's hoping they add cross save Q_Q
Why no body is talking about warmogger buffs???????? Like dude this character is going to become broken after this buff Just saying....... Not only the feats but now also the kit Ffs UBISOFT
Bro this team has completely lost it with balancing, nerfing orochi was completely unnecessary and this is what leads to a hero needing a rework a couple months down the road. And them buffing lawbringer by +2 damage is actually a joke knowing how weak the character actually is. Sorry not sorry but they are ruining the game hearing out the weak end of the community and it's gonna happen next season and the next and the next Every hero being nerfed useless untill it needs a rework or no one uses them anymore 😂
@smrbult269 actually a Kensei main on the opposite side of your little list, S tier or not every hero has a short coming and has counter and orochi has been untouched for the longest time up untill now, not to mention the nerfs weren't even related to what people were complaining about they just picked at him with basic tools and now when people keep complaining and actually patch over another main ability guess what? He will suck till they care to rework him again like every other hero in the roaster and knowing well everyone will always complain about something in for honor. Imagine being the company with one the most whinnying, petty and angriest community and actually listening to what the children have to say when it's repeated process since yr 5

This would be cool as a roaming area. Somewhere you can just run around test showcasing your kits on random enemies

Mr delulu orochi main. Orochi was over S tier in dominion. Competitivly listed as mandatory pick in his own tier.
