  • As nuisance streamers get banned and sent away from Japan, they are starting to try their same antics in other parts of Asian. Except in Thailand, they don't have the same peaceful nature as the Japanese. So these livestreamers are quickly finding out they are not welcome.

There are foreigners who have decided to live or study here in Thailand and genuinely love our culture. Genuinely great people to be friends with despite the differences in culture. One misinterpretation made by foreigners is that us Thais are stupid and can be pushed around easily. Trust me, we are not. We are very reserved people and generally polite, but we can 'push back' if needed. There are nasty individuals in our country who are just straight up gangsta and will hurt you badly. Contrary to what you might think, Thailand is a very safe country, with very friendly people. I say this as someone who grew up in the U.S., and spends a lot of time in Thailand. In fact, I am in Thailand right now. Personally, I have never been disrespected here, feel a lot safer than in the U.S., and the only conflicts I have ever had, were with other foreigners.
BUT - this is the kind of place where if you mess around (and you REALLY have to mess around), you will definitely find out. If you start destroying property and/or god forbid start throwing hands, you will probably have 20 Thais jumping you at the same time. Heck, ALL of the incidents I know of, where a foreigner got jumped by a group of Thais, the foreigner kind-of had it coming.
