Introduction to BGP and Multi-Cluster Connectivity

In this session, we're diving into the basics of BGP for multi-cluster connectivity in cloud environments. We'll cover how BGP can be translated to any kind of environment, whether it's on-premise or in the cloud. Our goal is to provide a 10,000-foot overview of BGP, along with a quick walkthrough of a practical example.
Why would you want to use BGP in your Kubernetes environment? One major use case is when you're using Egress Gateways to map IP addresses for your deployments or namespaces. This allows you to preserve the Kubernetes context for legacy devices that only handle IP addresses. Another use case is exposing services that do not support an ingress controller, especially for non-HTTP traffic, by advertising these services through BGP.
