It’s good to see Lego releasing budget Technic sets

I actually prefer these smaller sets over the big expensive cars. It's small but has functions that remind me of the early days of Technic

The stickers really elevate this set to the next level, imo. The functionality is awesome too!

The low-profile tires give it excellent turn-in response.

Pretty cool that there are actually cool small technic sets this year.

I am loving that this is minifigure scale! It looks a lot better than the "regular" dumptrucks that have made in the last several years, imho, and i can see myself putting a couple plates in the driver's section so a minifig could be placed; it definitely looks like there is enough room! Might have to keep this set on my radar for my collection and eventual city layout moc.

reminds me heavily of the 42084 Hook Loader, which was also excellent...

“Delightfully complete” describes this set perfectly. Both builds have the main functionality of their real-life counterparts, while being surprisingly different, albeit in the same theme (construction).

I adore this set, I’m not usually a technic guy but to me this is such a great LEGO set in general, it looks great and has fun functions all for a good price

It reminds me of the one from set 42060, the lego technic roadwork crew

This set is fabulous. The second model is first rate as well. The scoop has two points of articulation. I 'm think of buying a second to have them work together!

Looks like it would fit into a Lego city, it's the right size. Could be used as a background filler on a construction site.

Honestly, this set is really cool. I don’t personally like the overall look of technic, all the holes and stuff, but I do like the shaping they can get with the certain parts. If I were to pick one up, this would be it. ☺️

Probably the best value dump truck set close to minifig scale right now, of course Friends recycling truck could be converted, but the next steps up are the City recycling and 4+ demolition trucks that come in at much higher prices even.

As soon as you said "I expected to like it but..." I knew it was a setup for an "I love it". There is no way you'd hate this, at this price.

You could easily convert the front to a system build on this but you really don't have to, it would fit in well in any city.

This is almost the same as the one that included the mini elevator and trailer a few years ago. Its not a straight up recolour like the cherry picker was though.

  • @Benjamin0119
    @Benjamin0119 ปีที่แล้ว

That's a nice little truck. Given its size in comparison to the minifig you showed, this could probably be used in someone's LEGO city if they wanted. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to add accommodations for a driver.

I have this set, and thought it was very odd for only having 177 pieces to it, it came with 2 instruction booklets just for the truck, very odd!!

I prefer the older technic pieces because it fits the normal Lego bricks. Maybe with the modern Technic pieces the models looks smoother, but it isn’t very practical if you want to add normal Lego bricks to the design. Can anyone tell me why Lego changed their classic Technic bricks?
